PT Your favorite little moment or detail in the PT? (image heavy)

More things I noticed in some of the PT battle scenes:

Love the computer screens in most of the PT; always showing something cool! Here you can see troop formations on the screen on the left of Yoda...


...and in this one, a Clone having a Skype call on the right! But seriously, is this the first communication in Star Wars that isn't by hologram? I can't remember!


And then the targeting screens locking onto the Trade Federation ships (top right screens)... highlighting all the weak points that the SHPATs go on to shoot! Awesome!



Onto the Battle of Utapau again...
I never noticed until my last viewing that Grievous had two back up wheelbikes!


I also just saw in this panning shot of the Gunship that in the background there are more Varactyls charging into battle! There is at least one more to the right, but the image isn't very good at capturing this tiny detail.



Another thing I didn't notice until my last viewing was a frikkin' Venator parked in some trees on Kashyyyk!


Or that the droid that yells 'charge!' is a Commander with the yellow markings, but with a backpack instead of just antennae. That explains the Hasbro figure that confused me as a kid!


And finally back so the scene in AotC, when the Clones are armouring up. I've always loved the fact the Lieutenants, Sergeants, and Captains are in the mix to get their shiny new helmets, instead of all the troopers just being standard white. I also like the troopers running away in excitement to show off to their buddies or just having a chat, like the three on the left!

 

my favorite moment is in Attack of the Clones when Kenobi and Jango are fighting in the rain.....

Jango binds Kenobi's hands with the cord and they fight. Kenobi knocked Jango over the side of the roof and Jango slides down. Kenobi has the oh crud "not good" moment as he realizes he attached to the Falling man then over the side he goes!

should have thought that one through. I guess the Force did not see that far.....

 

Kenobi really has a talent for understatement I think. In that situation, I would be saying something you would have to spell like this, "Oh, ****". And all he says is, "Not good".

One moment I like in ROTS, he shoots Grevious with a blaster and says, "So uncivilized".

 

I thought that was a unique battle. It was probably the closest we've seen to a hand-to-hand duel in the main saga films...how else could you make a duel between a lightsaber duelist and someone who uses everything but a lightsaber work?

We actually got quite a bit of hand-to-hand in the prequels which I thought was cool. Jango vs. Obi-Wan, Obi-Wan vs. Grievous and Obi-Wan vs. Anakin/Vader. I love how Obi-Wan (who ironically would seem to be the least proficient in brutal hand-to-hand) is involved with all these fights.

It's when they're chasing Zam and he says "This is a shortcut, I think", he says "I think" like Jake did when he said "They're from the Moons of Iego, I think".

 

Nice! Then let me guide you to something you didn't think of...

It was after the sand comment, Padme let Anakin kiss her. Then at the fireplace, Anakin tells her "I'm haunted by the kiss, that you shouldn't have given me. My heart is beating, hoping that the kiss would not become a scar. You're in my very soul tormenting me. What can I do?......"

This was always one of my favorite visual links -- the two choices Anakin makes in each trilogy.

 

And fittingly he betrays the one who is too focused on the person in front of him (Mace towering over Palpatine; Palpatine towering over Luke)

Hold the phone...did I just see the Millennium Falcon in Episode 3!? It's the scene where Palpatine, Anakin, and Obi-Wan arrive on Coruscant after being in that battle towards the beginning of the movie. I'm watching it over and over again right now and it HAS TO BE the Millennium Falcon.

 

Yes, it's the Millenium Falcon. Fans noticed that like instantly in '05

 

That sure was. I think there were 3 similar-looking ships parked together on the left side of your screen when Anakin and Padme arrived on Naboo.

Love the way it nonchalantly glides in to dock. Pilot unlikely to be Han though. Or maybe he is.

According to Legends, Han Solo was 10 years old during the events of ROTS. But age never stopped Anakin from being the best starpilot in the Galaxy.

That's really cool. Whenever I watch the prequels I'm always just sort of half paying attention. But earlier today I happened to catch it.

Yea, I caught those when I first saw it.

 

I caught this today:











Notice that both the transport of Anakin/Palpatine/Kenobi and Millennium Falcon arrive at the same time. First pic is when we first see the MF coming in, while two floors up the transport is just also about to come in.

The second pic, both transport and MF's shadows can be seen on the platforms respectively at the same time too.

Now, he's the best part.....

In ANH, Vader says this : "I sense something...a presence I've not felt since..."



And who's on board? Obi Wan (Jedi) , Luke (future Jedi)!

Talk about foreshadowing from ROTS!
