Here is my task master.I hope I got it right.

For a 5 year long duty I would choose a world were I could truly achieve something, truly help the people. I don´t think I would go to a safe core world but instead to a planet in the mid or outer rim, a planet were the republic doesn´t help the people.

I imagine a world that is plagued by civil unrest maybe even civil war, were I would try to act as a diplomate/mediator between the different groups, using my skills as a councilor. I would try to understand the different perspectives in the conflict in order to work towards a peacefull solution for it. Maybe try to find some common ground.

I could also use my medical and pastoral skills to help the people who have been wounded or traumatised in the conflict. Thereby the force would be of great help I guess, as healing is what the light side is about.

During this time I would try to use as little violence as possible, although I defenetly would defend myself and innocents against attacks if needed. I would also not take a real leadership role but act more as a councilor/adviser to the locals. Should the task become too hard I would call other Jedi for aid.

P.S: Congratulations Skyla Skywalker to becoming a Padawan. :)

Very well Anedon, 4PTs. For your next task research the Gree, Kalee, and Rattatak. How would you minister to each kind of world? How do you become trusted advisor to some that have such despairing views? Ingenuity and creativity are a must. Please describe for two of these worlds. Each has their own unique issues and problems, that makes them all even, even if the term conflict is merely social, a constant struggle that has always been, or bitter peace that comes and goes based on who is strongest.

So it shall be noted by Bardan_Jusik, in the OP.

My Favorite Jedi? Hmmm.... That is a very good question... I have to say I admire all Jedi... But If I had to choose one?.... Hmm, Probably.... Obi-Wan Kenobi, I find this character very interesting... :yoda: A magician to some he seems, Indeed:yoda:, only at an older age, though, At the younger age (Phantom Menace:qui:) Obi-Wan was a good padawan, ( I cannot remember too much on Phantom Menace, I have not seen it in a while), Which I admire, seeing as many Padawans can be ruthless, but he was hesitant to train anakin:anakin:. I also find it amazing that in clone wars, episode 13, voyage of temptation, Obi-Wan was prepared to give up all his Jedi training (although i disapprove of this, it is still amazing). He also managed to survive Order 66, dueled Anakin and almost killed him (which is very difficult to do to a close friend). he then managed to hide form the glare of the Empire, he killed Maul, (Rebels season 3) and then infiltrated the death star, crippling it from the inside. he then lived on as a force ghost to guide luke.

I have always admired most Obi-Wan's acts, I suppose this is why he is my favorite

Skyla Skywalker, to begin your training as Padawan, we should have an idea where your path is likely to lead you. So I'd like you to read pages 112-128 of this document, https://www.scribd.com/document/127432341/The-Jedi-Path-PDF-Part-3 focusing on the different roles served by Jedi as Guardians, Consulars, and Sentinels.

I want you to carefully consider how you could serve our order in each of those roles. Think about your own strengths and weaknesses as you understand them now (they may change as you grow and train), and picture yourself in each of those three roles, and tell us what particular talents and abilities you have that would make you effective as a Guardian, Consular, and Sentinel.

We do not have to choose any one of those roles at this time. This exercise is to open your mind and help you envision different possibilities. By the time you are ready for Knighthood, we should have a better idea which path will suit you best, but there is time enough to find that. So take your time, use your imagination, and share three possibilities that you see for yourself.

Pillar 3- Self-Discipline MAIN TASK AND OPEN INITIATE TASK
Self-discipline is a positive thing in Jedi life due to the facts of how it reduces weaknesses (such as saving other lives over more lives at risk) and also helps with reducing addiction, Jedi need to be in control of their feelings, or they could let their hate take control, they need to be masters of their own emotions, If they are distracted, they cannot channel all energy through the force, To harness this self-discipline meditation is a key object, a healthy amount of meditation is 5 times a day, some believe this is still not enough, perhaps when waiting for training you meditate, Initiates cannot wield lightsabers until they have full control on Self-Discipline, And some begin to find it easier to repair items when they have full control of self-discipline
SOURCES (I have a book called the Jedi Path, NO google was used for this task [I never google stuff bout my tasks anyway])

    open initiate task continued
    Pillar 1- the Force
The Force is all around us, and it gives us the power, it gives us certain abilities like the force jump, the force push or pull, the famous jedi mind trick, the force is separated into two things, the living force is what gives us the abilities to use force moves, it is in the life all around you, in plants and in animals, then there is the unifying force, the unifying force is a vast cosmic power, many do not sense it during their training, but with patience and insight they eventually do, the unifying force is the galaxy,
it is the voice that whispers of your destiny, some ancients believe it is possible to transcend death itself

    Pillar 2- Knowledge
Knowledge is essential to Jedi, If not for the Holocrons we would be lost, initiates should learn of the galaxy, it's history, the stars, the planets, knowledge is a strong tool, but ignorance to knowledge can lead to danger, and perhaps... the darkside

What you say is true, and your observations are good.

The dark side is more than just a boogey-man concept, it's a real entity of destruction, cloaked by deception as salvation. The dark side promises power but only enslaves those who give into it. The nature of the force shows that emotions, especially negative ones, can lead as a gateway to the dark side, a shortcut if you will. As Jedi, we practice self-discipline and keep our emotions in check in order to keep our connection to the Force clear.

You have answered beyond what was expected. 4 pts. Master Vo'Un'Var

    RP Debrief:
    • You showed patience as you successfully defended against your two opponents.
    • The junior guard landed a hit on you but was minimal as you evaded.
    • You removed the senior guard after exploiting the junior guard's mistake and landing a hit to his ribs.
    • The junior guard attacked wildly in reaction to this and instead of taking advantage of this, you calmed him through the Force.
Why did you take this approach?
