What is this character with tentacles? What race? Who is the actor? He was with Jyn in the cell and transport.
I'd like to know the background of both the male prisoner that Jyn was making eye contact with and the other older female prisoner that were also in the transport vehicle.
Why? They sever no purpose other than showing Jyn was not the only prisoner being transferred. Absolutely no need

I wouldn't call it a waste, but the topic did serve as a reminder that R1's cast of characters (both main and background players) were not very memorable for me. I guess I could've been a bit more politic in expressing this opinion, but a thread with a bunch of Cthulhu jokes didn't exactly scream serious business to me. If fact I wasn't even the first to call him a dude in this thread, which I just noticed.
