Bleh, multiple times now I've reverse image searched Aphra comic panels and Google's "best guess" text description is some variation of "Aphra porn" [face_plain] e.g. both of these innocent panels returned the suggestion "star wars aphra hot".

I'm curious about the source image too, but couldn't dig up any info. I found the overall comparison in the comments of this /r/StarWars thread.

Google image search 'asian girl eating spaghetti'. If you do that you can find the photo without it being connected to Aphra. I still wasn't able to find a source though. Several youtubers have it as the pic for their channel page but wasn't able to dig any deeper than that. I don't think it originates from a movie or tv show as if it did I don't think it would be that difficult to find. I think it might have just been a joke pic taken at one time.

    Those are called fathiers.

These things showed up in Rogue One concept art.

Cool twist at the end of the issue, I hope we find out why Two-tubes survived the destruction of Jedah's temple. Well, aside from running fast. He just ran fast, didn't he?

Anyway, cool to see a character from Gillen and Lorcca's Vader run pop up. And look at Jedah now, holy heck! I thought they just blew up the city but apparently it tore it apart at it's core.

You're mixing things up here. Fathiers have large ears and are beige in color. The RO creature of which you speak has yet to be named.

I'm confused - I meant what you said, as a corrective to the post I quoted. As in: "The things in that book are called fathiers. The things in this comic come from RO concept art."

So, are we to understand that Luke, Han and Leia all know Tognath (at least when it comes to listening comprehension)? Or maybe just Leia?

Language fluency in Star Wars works on an "everyone can understand each other perfectly, regardless of language, unless the plot requires them not to" basis. Bodhi understood what Two-Tubes was saying in R1 as well, so it's probably not a particularly obscure tongue.

True. Though I had assumed it was one of the local languages spoken in Jedha. And Bodhi was from Jedha, so it didn't feel weird that he understood him.

Dammit, the pencils aren't bad but the colouring....

Still, let's not re-open that particular box - instead head over to the general Marvel thread, changes are a-foot at Marvel.

Both Poe Dameron and Star Wars comics have gotten a lot better in the past couple months. I was thinking of dropping Poe until his last issue, and I am very excited about the Ashes of Jedha storyline.

Aww man I got this issue late so I missed my favorite topic, debating about tracing in comics. But yeah back on topic I LOVE this issue. Seeing more of the Partisans is so fun and Two Tubes better live past this arc or so help me god

Man this looks great, and it is super surreal in the best way to see R1 characters and worlds melding with OT characters.

It looks like an anime fight where they run to opposite directions and one of them get injured

Is it just me or does Leia's body looks unnaturally long here?
