So I'm planning on costuming at celebration next year. I'm going as Cassian Andor, and maybe Darth Maul, but I'm not sure when the best days to costume are. I think Thursday I'd like to go in normal clothes just to get a feel for the event since there won't be panels, and then start costuming Friday-Monday. For those who have been to past celebrations, what days are most people costuming?

I'm worried because I feel like since Thursday is the first day, everyone will be in costume, but my gut tells me that since there are no panels there will be significantly less costuming.

    Thanks!

Typically with cons, Saturday will have the most cosplayers (this is usually when the costume contest is as well). There will be plenty of cosplay all five days, but Saturday and then Sunday will probably have the most if you're looking to get pictures with other cosplayers. Thursday or Monday will be less, but you'll still see plenty of people doing it.

I try to find out about as many of the group shots as possible to post here. Usually the Rebel Legion has its photo on Friday and the 501st legion on Saturday.

That is much appreciated. Preferably with locations if you can get that information from anyone familiar with the venue.
I have been running around trying to locate some of the groups previously with no luck. In some cases location was listed as "Outside", but obviously not at the main entrance.

I can find out the RL and 501st easily enough, since I'm a member. It's harder to track down the other groups.

Found out on Facebook last night that the Star Wars/Disney mash up costumes are planning a photo op on the Sunday.

Speaking of costuming, outside of making them, where do you guys go for clothing items? I'm thinking of going in costume on a couple of the days, but I have no idea where to start with acquiring my outfit.

What is your ambition with your costume? Do you want something that looked like it walked off the screen, or do you just want to hang around in a costume that gets recognized for what it is, but doesn't look perfect?

At every Celebration I've attended, I sign up for table duty with the Rebel Legion and 501st. That alone
allows me to wear different costumes on those days. And the day before I go home, I wear my ICMG
    because it's easier to pack.
