lots of interesting stuff in there. Cool to see more environments, ships and characters. This is more like it, people would actually be talking about this show if we had this much insight a few months ago. I'm getting less and less of a "this is aimed particularly for young kids" vibe as we get more info. youtube mirror:

Its starting to look really quite good. Lucasfilm should never have allowed Disney Channel to release their advert before these videos.

 

That is the best video they have released!
I was really skeptical and pessimistic about this show, but now I feel like it could be fun. It at least feels like it will have a different make-up than the Rebels.

 

Looking even better, and I'm liking Hype Fazon (the Metroid fan in me almost spelled it with a "Ph") already. And nice to see another Kel Dor in the new canon that isn't Plo Koon (and a non-Jedi to boot).

 

The droid in the red and white ship, the head reminds me of the Astromechs from KOTOR/SWTOR

Also did I hear Fodesinbeed's Fode voice announcing the pilots?

a little bit more and a little bit more and a little bit more. As more things get revealed I'm getting a better idea of what kind of experience this will be, and it is succeeding and making me more excited for the premiere to see what they deliver.

 

I just really hope Hype Fazon dances like Turk from Scrubs when he wins a race.

 

I can't believe I went from hating this show to not being able to wait for it to air. It really seems like a fun show. Hype seems like a really fun character. I wonder if Bo Keevil is going to simply be comic relief. The guy in the background who doesn't talk but always doing stupid stuff. I thought he was going to be one of the bigger antagonists of the show but now I'm not so sure.

 

Freya has the same last name as Astrid Fenris a smuggler that was active in solo and in tales of Vandor she doesn't believe that Han made the kessel run so she keeps saying she's going to retread hans path . Freya has become a bit more interesting with this and theres a few ways this can go. Maybe she hates her parent (as Astrid is probably her mom) life style so started racing to get away from it. Or maybe Astrid did try to retrace hans path by the time of the ST and got lost/killed in the maw (Long shot she got lost and found recanonlized abeloth to for resistance's mortis tie in arc But that would be way down the line) and Freya might be racing to try to forget her grief over her mother.

 

I love the art. A lot. A little nervous about the racer concept and how it ties into the resistance but we will see.

Surprise, surprise. Star Wars fans prematurely hated something based on tiny amounts of footage, and started liking that something more as they saw more footage.

Whoever named Freya Fenris is a hardcore Norse myth fan, it seems. Freya’s a top Norse goddess, and Fenrir (or Fenris-wolf) is the monstrous wolf in Norse myth that’ll eat the sun or something when Ragnarok strikes.

 

It angers me how the Aces video is getting down votes still on YouTube. You read the comments and its full of complete idiots automatically down voting because of The Last Jedi. Yes TLJ was abysmal. Yes the Disney Channel advert for Resistance was terrible and deserved the down votes. But the Aces video is really well done, as is the Team Fireball one. It absolutely doesn't deserve the current 5000 thumbs down.

Awesome catch! I'm 100% positive they're related. Same snow white skin and platinum blonde hair. I honestly wasn't excited for her character at first but now that you bring this up I'm extremely excited to see her.

Actually I think most are young adults that grew up watching The Clone Wars first.
