Sooooo, anyone know how much Disney will be charging for their streaming service? I need to build this into my budget now, just to make sure.

I wonder what he will be flying around in. If they are going to have him only on one planet the whole time this is not a big thing....but if he is going to be going to other planets then it makes sense for him to have his own ship and not rely on public transportation.

Some sort of starfighter like a Headhunter or Cloakshape? A courier like the KST-100 Kestrel (the Kasmiri from the Kanan comic)?? A yacht or freighter???

 

I think the only thing that's been hinted at is that it would be less than Netflix, so that should give you a rough estimate. No word on if it will be tiered for HD, 4k, etc. Also, by the time it comes out, Netflix might raise their prices again..

 

Here's hoping for a Fang or Kom'rk for him. Might as well go all out and Mando him up.

 

It will be interesting to see how this series connects to or uses world building elements from the films and animated shows.

Infact i wonder whether there is a good reason why Dave Filoni is directing the first episode.

 

Kom'rks are downright sexy. I want to see a practical version.

 

I hope the Mandalorian's ship will be the type he walks into, not climbs into. I'm also hoping it will have a multipositional design, like the Slave I.
Also, like the Slave I, it could have the resemblance of an animal, like a gnu or zebu. I've always liked the AST-5 mini-rig, and like how Kylo's shuttle design borrows from the AST-5's coffin-like shape. Imagine a scaled-up AST-5 where the landing position is vertical, the battle position is vertical with the engines rearward, and the long distance flight position is supine. When the ship is standing in its vertical mode, the ramped door/ramp would hinge down to the ground, and a lift would move him up and down to the various floors of the ship. Each level could even be on a rollling axis, capable of turning this multi-floor ship (when vertical) into one seamless floor when the ship is flat.

Going Full Mando would be cool....but I want something that has not been seen on screen before. Maybe a Pursuer Class ship

I wouldn't mind seeing a Pursuer find it's way from Legends to the small screen.

 

Probably need a speeder bike or swoop as well....I mean sure a ship will get you planet to planet...but you need to get around on the planet.

 

I am so excited for this series now. It will be fun to see how they connect the two planets

 

Maybe a Ghtroc but maintains a cover as a freighter to avoid unnecessary attention since they're apparently not a Fett?

Got to start somewhere and have something to work up to after all this isn't the Ghost so they might upgrade or replace their equipment even ship when necessary!

 

I mean Fett as far as Canon is concerned is not Mandalorian

 

Yeah I was going to suggest the Mandal motors Pursuer-class too. Perfect ship for how the Mandalorian looks in that released photo, old, dirty and maybe unreliable but really tough and modifiable too. The Fang and Kom'rk look too nice and expensive for him.

 

We know Luke is very active in this era though. It's only after Ben goes nuts that he secludes himself.

 

Plus with a freighter he can run cargo from time to time to make some extra scratch.

 

I’m curious as to how this will be accessible to non-US fans if Disney streaming is not international at that stage.

Will other services get the rights or would we just have to wait?

Did some reading but couldn’t find anything in terms of expected start date for the service.

 

I am really hoping for a quick DVD release.

It does often feel like viewers outside of the US get neglected by LFL and Disney. A little info on where The Mandalorian and TCW new series will be available to watch would be nice.

I am also wondering will the Disney streaming service app be available on my Xbox ONE otherwise I gotta watch this on my computer or laptop and I don't want to do that.
