Picked up a copy of Doctor Who: Twelve Angels Weeping by Dave Rudden at Waterstones today. It's twelve stories of the villains from Doctor Who. Represented are the Angels, Ice Warriors, Time Lords, Cybermen, The Silence, Sontarans, Silurians, Ood, Zygons, Daleks, Judoon, and The Master.
Doesn't compare to the joys of having to adjust tracking at random points while watching a movie. Which none of the buttons on the wired remote were capable of.
Spoiler: Segue about Rosa Airing again here. Yep, Ryan aimed for past, I'd missed that he'd learned how to work the thing.
That moment when you realize when talking in random conversation about a nonspecific Doctor, the proper gender is now neutral
Show is just starting here in the UK. Edit - arachnophobes are really going to hate tonight's episode.
Arachnophobes should indeed definitely give this one a pass. As for me, really still love Chris Chibnall's take on Doctor Who
Next week's episode keeps the same 7PM-750PM time slot in the UK. Title: Spoiler The Tsuranga Conundrum
Creepier than the spiders scene from the Hobbit/Shelob from Lord of the Rings/Aragog and company from Harry Potter?
@PCCViking I honestly couldn't say, I'm the guy jaded enough not to notice Someone else should field that one.
I'm failing to see any good villains so far from this series. "Tim Shaw" from the first was ok, but then the second was basically bits of cloth, last week the stereotypical racist and now this week Spoiler Trump Mk2, with a few lines near the end a bit... off bearing in mind recent events Maybe just me.
Not as creepy , but then it is a family show and they have to be careful . good episode , my only complaint is that it could've been edited a bit more , dialogue and scenes tend to repeat themselves a bit .
"I call people dudes now!" I'm loving this Doctor already! She has a bit of both Ten and Eleven about her while still being unique. I adored Twelve but I've missed the sort of child-like glee and enthusiasm that those two had. Thirteen has it in spades. This was another really fun episode. Although I absolutely hate spiders so it was also very uncomfortable to watch. But it's almost Halloween so a little torture is to be expected.
Article in today's Telegraph said the Christmas episode won't be on Christmas in the UK this year. It will be on New Year's Day instead.
Saw "The Tsuranga Conundrum" last night. I almost get the feeling they needed a script in a hurry, so they threw in a bunch of clichés and hoped it'd stick together. I wasn't really impressed.
Couldn't tell the difference between that episode and 42 (also by Chibnall). Not a fan of either. Watchable, but not rewatchable.
