Not bad. The Broken Legacy is another I wouldn't mind.

Funny you say that. Before "Shattered Legacy" I had "Broken Legacy" in mind after hearing a song called "Bless the Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts on XM Radio's The Blend.

Wow, that GIF right there suddenly makes me miss the prequels. There were some really stunning visuals/environments/planets in that trilogy.

Is it at all possible that we see an awesome looking big city in IX or will it be all rural/frontier environments?

I hope so. All the Coruscant scenes were by far my favorite part of the prequels; seeing and being in the center of the galaxy. I get why the ST hasn't done it yet, as so far 7 & 8 take up a grand total of a week at best, and all of it on the far flung edge of the galaxy by design. But, if this really is a galactic level conflict, I kinda wanna see the galaxy while we're at it, especially the seats of power.

Everyone dogged the political intrigue of the prequels; it was actually the part I liked the best. I only disliked the wooden dialogue and poorly acted love scenes (I still like both Hayden and Natalie in most of their other scenes), everything else was awesome. I find a struggle for power without any politics kind of simplistic. Which even that is ok if it's what we get, but it could be done better!

Sounds too negative for a finale. A finale in which the good guys presumably will win (seems like a safe bet).

Gahhhhh! Friggin Google! The first thing I see on my Google front page is the logo for "Star Wars: Jedi: Fallen Order" which looks *exactly* like the ST titles and it made me think that was the title reveal

No not everyone. In fact the only real criticism about politics in the prequels was mostly about the opening crawl of TPM, the "taxation of trade routes" etc. There was some criticism of Jar Jar representing Naboo, too. But anyway, sure the opening crawl sounded a bit stale on the face of it, but that's just the set up... most people really got on board with all the politics once Palpatine was introduced and we followed how he rose to power. Palpation's takeover of the Republic was the most interesting thing about that trilogy and the cornerstone of the entire narrative.
