I'd say that Mandalorian getting a second series before the first episode even airing is entire plausible seeing as we got confirmation of the Rian Johnson Trilogy months before TLJ

So this leak is saying Bossk and Dengar. Didn’t they die on Jabba’s Sail Barge? What’s the current canon?

So great that we got all of the bounty hunter again from ESB. I hope we see a certain bounty hunters from CW, like Cade Bane who's most likley still alive and Embo who has been in one for the aftermath books and an adventure comic and sees him a a farmer by TLJ. Oh and by the way where's Jango, i mean Boba

Guess there are more planets then the two mentioned,there was a couple of set pictures based on some kind of an black vulcanic stone location.

 

If Dengar's in the show, he needs to be played by Simon Pegg!

Those new leaks are not entirely earth-shattering and (if true) would seem to be based on toy and box art sightings. There's only character and vague location info, nothing regarding the story line. The 'known' location has been pretty much confirmed and the new one could well have been guessed at from the set dressing seen during filming.

 

If Dengar and Bossk are in this show we will have to pretend not to notice them on Jabbas sail barge I am definitely willing to overlook this just to see them used to their potential!

 

Isn't Dengar only seen in Jabba's palace? I don't remember seeing him on the sail barge. So they could easily say he stayed at the palace. And Bossk could just be a different Trandoshan.

 

They're both only seen in the palace, as far as I'm aware.

 

I googled Bossk on Jabba’s barge because I remember seeing a clear candid shot of him in it but I guess someone did spot him in the actual movie.

 

Bossk is definitely on the sail barge. Dengar I will have to go back and check...

 

I think those leaks basically confirm that this series is a retooled Fett / bounty hunters movie. They invented a new lead character to be able to work with a clean slate and probably turned Fett into a recurring antagonist. Kept everything else the same - like Tatooine and the ESB bounty hunters figuring prominently.

This lends credibility to the rumors that Kenobi is the third live action series. Both Kenobi and Fett were the highly rumored spinoffs after Solo. They were developed instead as series after Solo’s disappointing performance.

Also makes sense IG-88 has a large role considering how he’s appeared multiple times in Jon Favreau’s social media, implying a big presence and something they’re excited to share.
Is it possible Taiki Waititi will voice him??

That's the rumor... Which was obviously given a bit of credence given the pic of him standing in front of the mic with scenes of what was (presumably) IG-88 up on the screen.

He's dead, won't be in this series.

I wonder why he didn't joined the fight.

 

Have you what he's been through during the Clone Wars? He's not stupid. He probably connected Skywalker and Jedis and escaped as soon as stuff started going down on the barge

 

Dengar has already been shown to be alive post-ROTJ in the Aftermath books.

You can easily wave that away as another Trandoshan. Or that he jumped off and survived. Whatever. Easily dealt with if Favreau wants to use him again.
