If you'd like an early look, Marc Laming (villains artist) frequently posts unlettered inks (some a bit spoiler-y, most not) on his Twitter. Here are some from the Tarkin and Boba Fett issues: Spoiler: Tarkin inks Spoiler: Boba Fett pencils and inks
Some smart art picks here - Sprouse is great, but not a monthly artist, similarly Laming has done some excellent miniseries work.

There is also a post-ESB book and a FOD short from Leia's pov. I'm just glad we're finally seeing it from someone else's perspective for once.
They're still comin', they're still lookin' good: Spoiler: Boba Fett inks Fun variant cover by Marco Checchetto: Spoiler: Special variant cover
Regarding the preview for the Vader comic Spoiler Is it a new thing that there were more Grand Moffs than just Tarkin? I've always thought it was only him that ever held that rank but I suppose it makes sense that there would be others thinking about it.
Spoiler There were loads in Legends, and there've already been a fair few in canon. The Tarkin novel specifies Tarkin was just the first Grand Moff.
Spoiler Thanks for clarifying that for me. I had remembered there definitely being Moffs that promoted themselves to the rank of Grand Moff after Endor in both continuites, but didn't know about there being others when Palpatine was actually still alive.
It was delayed a week, so now it's scheduled for the 10th. PSA/Plug: While Marvel is usually pretty good at meeting their anticipated release schedule (which is why I risked including it in my OP -- gambled and lost right off the bat!), always check TTT's helpful weekly posts in the References thread for changes and delays.
Leia preview is up. Spoiler: Leia comments Evaan! Well, her voice. Good time to rewatch the related FoD short: Tarkin preview is up. Spoiler: Tarkin comments MOTTI! Dare I hope for...
Spoiler I get the feeling that FOD short isn't going to be especially related the instant this issue comes out, unfortunately.
Spoiler I was thinking the issue is set very soon after the FoD short, with Leia in the same outfit and hairstyle, reviewing the weapons taken from Boushh, then suiting up for the first time to rescue Lando from the bounty hunters (and having to maintain the guise when Bossk catches up to them, going by the solicitation). But yeah, I would not be surprised if I'm totally wrong and/or this issue supersedes some or all of the short.
Spoiler Could be a ruse and it's really Leia in the disguise already, but it seems a bit forced, especially as she's on the comlink to Lando while he's being chased, and it doesn't seem like there's much need to actually fight him. But who knows.
Let's not forget there's some leeway with FOD, since we have a possibly unreliable narrator in the form of Maz. And that's if there's an inconsistency, so might be a moot point.
Sure, I'd just rather there not be any need for leeway, considering the FOD short's been out long enough for the comic to at least be aware of it. But yes, we don't know if there's an inconsistency yet.
I thought the Leia issue was good but found it somewhat hard to follow. I really liked the Tarkin issue, I love the consistency of his characterization and backstory in the new canon.
Two things about the Tarkin issue: Spoiler Tenn Graneet is officially non-canon. He was my favorite character in Death Star. If Tarkin spaced all the gunners after Alderaan, who was manning the boards when they were about to blow up Yavin IV? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
