Yes I agree with you about the lightsaber thing, I am a bit bummed about that. I really wanted to see in the last movie a different coloured blade, I don't like the dull thin blue hue they've had so far in this trilogy, it just comes across as a bit bland to me. I know, I know we have Kylo's spluttering crazy saber, but eh, I'm sick to death of blue
And you are right, there will be no mention on how that was fixed,why it called to her in the first place etc. The first shot I think was obviously a dream sequence "this place on Jakku is strong in the force" kind of thing

I think I have become obsessed with the emo/punk/edgy Disney princess/females thing. I woke up this morning and it was the first thing I thought about I think.

VR headsets are the bomb, the Wizard has one for her PS4, and it's awesome.

I'll never forget how exhilarating a VR skydive was, apparently I flailed my arms around like crazy

It's also just really cool to turn your head and see 360 degrees of a world. Completely unique experience.

Actually, that reminds me, the first time I ever wore a VR headset was in Switzerland, in the town of Vevey. We'd gone to visit The Nest, which is a museum all about Nestle. It was a surprisingly good museum, with a broad history of a hundred years of marketing and design work that was really quite interesting. There was also a section at the start recapping Swiss history leading up to Nestle's founding, it was actually very touching and effective, with a lot of inventive stuff like shadow puppets, or secretly filming the crowd and playing the shots of us back later to our amusement. We also got to learn all about George Clooney, the face of Nespresso (what else?)


Anyway, there was a small section about 'the future of tech' that had a VR headset you could use to fly across Lake Geneva. Was a little glitchy, but still loads of fun. Right besides that was a machine that dispensed Kit-Kats

Edit: There was also a bench in the shape of a Kit-Kat, very unique museum

I may be misremembering, but I’d seems to me that the Force Awakens trailers quickly climbed to have tens of millions of views- something like 80 million for the second trailer

This one has 3 million views as of now.

If what I say is accurate, the implications are chilling

gotta agree with you there. i have seen some real awkward moments in his interviews over these last several Celebrations. and i hate to be snarky about something that people usually can't help, butttt....that laugh of his (*cringes*)

he even injected unnecessary and awkward attempts at "slick irony" into his interview with my beloved Japanese vegetable carver!
