The Sith Trooper, huh? Well, it's good to know that they've finally admitted to it. It's good to see them finally being honest.
Sith Troopers Sith Troopers SITH Troopers what the heck is going on in this trilogy? Palps is really back? Kylo is going Sith? /headbash I wonder if they're clones? They kind of have a phase 2 clone armor look, and there was that throwaway dialogue betweem Kylo and Hux in TFA. That'd be neat. A very nice way to differentiate the good stormtroopers "white" from the bad ones "red". Another confirmation Palpatine will be THE main big bad. Also, the stormtrooper rebellion theory lives!
After looking back in the thread, I was reminded of Palpatine's RED Sentinel Droids. They're almost certainly Palpatine's troops. It makes sense. Vader had his First Legion, The Inquisitors had theirs, and now Palpatine has his own. Probably his personal guard wherever he's been hiding out. RJ might have been using the color red in TLJ to foreshadow this. Holy bejeebus now I want to go back and see where red was used and if it could be relevant...
If anything, I like that they got a uniqueness to them with the ribbed texture and angular design. For a moment I thought they were just gonna be regular FO troopers colored red.
You know it took like 5 years for some remote pockets of America to finally learn that the Civil War ended years ago ... Maybe there's a planet that still thinks the Empire is going strong or something. No one told them the news yet. lol
So first they tried hard to erase any association with Sith in TFA and TLJ, then their own idea didnt work so they returned to Sith concept pretending that was the plan all along. Nice.
According to MSW they apparently only listen to Kylo and the KOR, so it appears they're not working for Palpatine.
