Saw that in high school! I’d never heard of it before but it was a solid movie. Made you think; good performances all around.

Odd choices in that film class. That plus Love, Actually, Sleepers, Crash, & The Karate Kid (original). *insert face dunno emoji here* Sleepers made me feel awful about the world; wasn’t expecting the dark subject matter. But good performances there too, except it kinda ruined Kevin Bacon for me.

This made for TV Children of the Corn remake is SO STUPID. I am sorry; I was wrong when I asked for more corn & kids. This has more of both & it is AWFUL. And long, like wtf?! Could cut 30 minutes out!

 

Love Actually is a great romantic comedy imo. Alan Rickman, Liam Neeson, Emma Thompson, and Hugh Grant, who is as good at this sort of thing as anyone since Cary Grant. Maybe even better.

Yes! I broke out my ol’ Anakin Skywalker Force FX lightsaber from ROTS and it works! Last time I tried it it wasn’t working, but I just tested now with brand new batteries. It lives!

And it is Anakin’s saber, Lucasfilm. Not Rey’s. If Rey wants her own, she has to make it. How cool is it to watch a hero just be handed everything without any work or training?
