A/V Obi-Wan TV show happened, Ewan McGregor returned

Well, Obi-Wan says he "once was a Jedi Knight" in ANH, not that he's currently a Jedi Knight. So, maybe he won't feel bound by their rules anymore.

 

How about a love triangle between Beru, Owen, and Ben?

Forbidden love...

Denied sexual attraction...

 

This hopefully means we get Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piessee as Owen and Beru. And I'm calling 75% shot this somehow leads to Owen's "that wizard's just a crazy old man!" type of talk. But Luke would (probably) be, like, 10 at the time so I can't any interaction between the two. But Edgerton is actually really great, even though he only has like 3 lines in Attack of the Clones. Dude can do bitter!

 

we never get Kenobi after ROTS... not enough story there. If it comes, rather TCW or before with a new recast young Anakin as his Padawan before AOTC.

 

An entire book was written a few years ago the dealt with Ben living on Tatooine. It was fantastic.

 

Also he was in an amazing episode of Rebels

 

There's also the comics, where he protects Luke from Jabba's thugs and making deals with Jawas.

Or digitally de-age Hayden. He'd probably be decent with a good director behind him.

I have a bad feeling about this.

 

The Kenobi episode of Rebels was a terrific payoff to the Maul arc that started in Clone Wars. Easily one of the best Rebels episodes. If

If the Disney+ series is anything like the Kenobi novel or the Kenobi issues of the Marvel comic, we are in for a treat. Both are a blueprint for how to tell Ben Kenobi stories post ROTS. I would like to see Jabba be the main antagonist of at least one episode, please ...

If this show has the same production value as the Mando TV Show Trailer showed, then I am no longer disappointed that this isn't a movie.

 

I’m seeing on Twitter that Ewan has said Liam Neeson is going to have a cameo, not sure how true that is. Star Wars die hards Twitter page.

I think Qui-Gon will "appear". The original source that broke the rumour said that the film version had flashbacks to the Clone Wars. So if this series uses those scripts (or at least the general outline), then I can definitely see Hayden Christensen being in this in some capacity.

 

You all said I was mad! But I kept the thread alive for years, and my insanity and desperation finally paid off... that's right, the Muppets are returning. They're back, dammit!

 

We have a timeline for the new shows: the Kenobi one is set in 12 BBY, seven years after ROTS. The Official Site seems to have mistakenly reported it as eight years after.

 

Like how were organizing the Timeline too....Age of Republic, Age of Rebellion, and Age of Resistance.
