While I haven't thought about it enough to definitively choose which movie has the best/most consistently good acting, I gotta say TLJ's up there. Despite my dislike of Luke's characterization, I gotta say he gives an amazing performance in this movie; imo probably even better than his performances in the OT. I wouldn't say there's any actual bad acting that I can think of in the movie honestly. The only thing for me is, as I've mentioned before, like one or two of Kylo's lines make me laugh in how they're delivered But not only does that not mean those few lines are objectively bad or anything (they're not) but even if they were, I would much rather have over the top or slightly silly acting over boring and robotic acting in almost every case

Eh.....I respectfully disagree I think she's pretty likeable whenever she briefly talks to Leia a few minutes before her sacrifice, but her character just makes me mad before that. Like, I understand there may be a possible like First Order spy or something somehow and maybe she had to be careful, but half of that plotline being:

Poe: "Hey, we're kinda panicking right now and it looks like we're gonna die, could you please tell us about any plans you may have to help us?"

Holdo: "No. "

has always just gotten on my nerves more than anything

Also keep in mind i'm not trying to start a debate or anything (unless you want to of course ) I'm just sharing my opinions a little more because I somewhat enjoy talking about the movie now


Overall, would you say that the movie moved higher or lower in your Star Wars movie rankings, or stayed the same?

 

AOTC is my favourite
