Did you happen to do this through ticketsatwork.com? my company uses them too and I totally forget we have that as an option.
EDIT: I could not find ticketsatwork the first time when I checked our company's travel benefits but decided to check again and found it under ticket benefits vs hotel benefits. I went ahead and booked the Hyatt at $152 per night or $730 after taxes. I figure it is worth $130 to be closer. They do have a cancellation fee of one night so something to know before booking. I'll keep the info below on my other reservation just in case anyone is interested EDIT 2: Just checked Disneyland ticket price thru ticketsatwork and for a PEAK 1 day ticket is is $174 and for PEAK Park Hopper 1 day $199. I was thinking about $100 but it has been awhile since I have been to Disneyland. Checked today and found Stanford Inn And Suites for 4 nights W,TH.Fr.Sat, leave Sunday for $600 with the taxes (~130 per night plus 17%) Parking is $7 per night as of now. I originally booked at $160 per night but while checking the hotel website I saw a save 20% if you book 3 nights or more directly from the hotel. Also includes a continental breakfast. About 1 km or 0.65 miles so close enough This is about 1/2 the price of my reservation at Hilton Anaheim right next to the convention center. I'm fairly certain I'll be cancelling the Anaheim Hilton but will keep it for now just in case.
Disneyland went up significantly this year before GE opened, it's one of the main factors Disney have noted in why attendance was lower than expected. If you're doing multiple days it works out cheaper to get the multiday passes.
If that town is near Anaheim that might not be the first person that gets similar notice. There's been some talk of doing that in parts of the UK (like London) because of complaints related to short-term rentals and AirBnB guests.
Weird.. according to this news article, the short term rental ban was overturned this summer? https://www.ocregister.com/2019/06/...ms-more-than-200-short-term-rentals-can-stay/ "Owners of short-term rental properties in Anaheim have won a seemingly long-term victory: the right to continue operating as long as they’re good neighbors and follow city rules."
Have you checked through the official block? I just checked for the 26-31 and a couple options popped up.
Just keep checking back regularly, especially as it gets closer. Something is bound to come up. @star_wars_is_good:
Don't look at me! I cancelled my extras But, like @MotivateR5D4 says, there's plenty of hotels in the official block and dozens within walking distance, there should definitely be availability as we get closer.
