George looks super dorky in all the old production stills. It's really funny to imagine him on the set, amidst all the costumed characters. But of course there would be a whole array of cameramen, set technicians and so forth all in a row somewhere too. If you were really on the set.

 

It's a tribute to the superbly grounded work of Ralph McQuarrie, John Mollo, John Barry et al. that Peter Cushing in those photos looks like he might've just stepped off the set of The Hunt for Red October, rather than Captain Video.

 

Captain Video was cheap but he was the first television space hero.

Interesting to see that little scar on the back of Vader's head on the left side. Normally I think it gets entirely ignored when people are drawing helmetless Vader.
