Well, this is interesting. Pictured first, the Well of the Dark Side on Mortis:

Then the entrance to the planet of the Force Priestesses in Destiny:

Still trying to figure out what the significance of this is :p

Music reused in Destiny seems to primarily include Ambush (appropriate since it's a Yoda focus), as well as both Mortis and The Gathering (fits well with the theme of exploring the deeper Force lore) :)

By far, the best arc of the Clone Wars is the Yoda one ^:)^ on par with the films imo

Just hearing the term 'Master Dooku' instead of Count in Yoda's vision is really unsettling:

The eerie quiet, punctuated only by distant windchimes works really well. I want to see the story of Yoda and Dooku's mission to Kashyyyk too, how he made such 'good relations' with those Wookiees :) It's also funny that you can tell that they only got Liam Neeson for one episode, which is why Qui-Gon has no lines :p

Interesting that Quinlan Vos shows up in the vision, since he hadn't shown up in ages and would have such a big role next season:

And since I've been harping on about the Jedi Council all this time, it's hilarious to me that even in a vision where Adi Gallia is back from the dead, Coleman Kcaj and Oppo Rancisis still aren't present:

Shows just how much Yoda values their contributions to the Jedi [face_laugh]

Really cool that they got Mark Hamil to play the spectre of Darth Bane, the absolute inverse of his more well-known Star Wars character :):

If they ever do an Old Republic movie, they should get Hamil back to play Bane again, that'd be awesome :D

Edit: Would have been cool to see the lightsaber pike at some point too:

And there goes the original run of Clone Wars that was fully animated ;)

You know, it's really quite lucky that TCW ended on this episode, instead of say the Disappeared or Bounty Hunter arcs either side. Those are both fine stories, but for a climax having Yoda go up against Sidious in a vision, and finally learning secrets to the key to becoming a Force ghost and a chance for Lucas to explore more of the mythology of the force it's very apt. And the lucky coincidence that the original tv run of TCW both started and ended with Yoda episodes :)

Now on to A Death on Utapau as my eyes weep for what could have been if this had been fully animated :p

It's kinda funny (in a morbid way) that both Anakin and Obi-Wan get new character models in this episode:

Anakin gets longer hair, and both of them finally get proper Jedi sleeves instead of wrist armour. Thanks to the new Disney+ season going with totally new models, these designs will never actually get used properly :p

In Search of the Crystal really has some of the most top-tier Anakin/Obi-Wan banter, it's such a hoot :) Mockingly pointing out the abundance of grass, Anakin playing around in the armoury, it's all great. James Hong's performance as the head Sugi is also fun, the fact that the story is so witty helps it overcome the limited visuals. And this scene is very important for exploring Anakin's reaction to the end of Season 5:

Despite how eminently watchable I find these animatics, one thing kinda disappointing is that the Sugi almost never move their legs, spending most of the time gliding about. The few times we do see them moving with their multiple spidery legs look quite good, so it's a shame that they're reduced to being so static:

I think it's actually quite amazing that a certain aspect of this arc came back later in such a major way. I'm talking about the crystal:

It's this arc that sets up the concept that the Death Star laser is powered by Kyber Crystals in some form, which later went on to be an incredibly crucial part of Rogue One and certain episodes of Rebels. I just love how even this unfinished story led to great stuff down the line :)

There were gonna be more Sniper Droidekas in The Big Bang?!

I feel robbed, seeing more of that design would've been great :p

And Obi-Wan's little wave here to Grievous is adorable ;):

Now to move straight on to the Bane/Boba arc... what's that? It doesn't exist? Only 4 minutes of clips from the arc?

Guess I'll go stare at concept art and contemplate what might have happened for an hour and 20 minutes before moving onto The Bad Batch :p

So I had the realization earlier that while in quarantine there is literally absolutely nothing forcing me to wear socially acceptable clothing because 1) no one will ever know and 2) even if they did no one cares anymore.

...so I might be just walking around my house in a Jedi costume for no other reason then because I want to but that's not really anyone's problem but my own [face_mischief]
