A striil of course. That is, if you can handle the smell.

    A Reek

For one their tusks remind me of the Kyr’bes or Mandalorian sigil:

and it would give a Mando the strength to gore enemies and break down gates.

The Reek also reminds me of Mando spirit, tough, stout and full of persistence. The Way is to run into the fray not run away like a coward, and Reeks run face first into battle just as a Mando with Ijaat would.

Isn’t it humorious that before the Mythasaur became canon, the Mandalorian Sigil/Skull was believed to be a Bantha skull. Like Mandos would use a Bantha skull! That sounds more Tuskan Raider.

The thing i find odd is that the mythosaur skull doesn't entirely fit the look of the creature.

I think GL intended the Mandalorian symbol to be a neat symbol reminiscent of the cattle skull:

The mythos behind it would come later.

One could infer especially with the line, “your people tamed the great mythosaur,” that Mandos aside from being great warriors were ranchers or like space cowboys.

The Mandalorian series sure has added western themes like Mando taming a Blurgg.

I like the idea of the mandos taming the Mythosaurs rather than killing them all.

Aside ftom maybe tests of bravery akin to the rite of passage of the Spartants of Sparda, killing many Mythosaurs seems excessive. I like to think the Mandos of yore were like the Natives and Medieval peoples of Terra Firma, who killed only when they needed food and used every part of the animal like furs, tusks for horns and cups, liver for hides and etc.

Yes.. that needs to happen. The First Order shows up, and Hux says, “you and what army?!” Mando stares from his Beskar mask, “This army..” A ton of Mythasaurs come rampaging. Babyoda just smiles. End of scene. ;)

Haven't posted in awhile, but the animal I would choose, especially if mythosuars no longer exist, is perhaps the mighty Krayt dragon? Heck, the Greater Krayt variant has been known to prey on the ferocious Sarlaccs, so definitely a comfortable alternative to a mythosaurs.

I shall rave about The Mandalorian
I'd pick a Shriek-Hawk. We don't currently know much about them. (cannon or legends) But they're known as "peerless hunters", and are worthy of being a clan sigil. Which is good enough for me. Plus Falconry just seems like a cool and classy way to hunt

A new set of words this time: iviin'yc tracy'uur, which means fast blaster.

Someone pointed out earlier that they thought the original mythosaur skull looked like a cow skull in similarities. I think the Mandalorians were meant to be the cowboys of Star Wars, honestly. We don't have a word for gunslinger or the like in Mando'a but we do have words that can be used together to create the same meaning. You could also add beroya to have fast blaster bounty hunter, as well.

Challenge: Can you think of a better way to convey a Mandalorian as a gunslinger/cowboy using Mando'a?

    gun·sling·er
    /ˈɡənˌsliNGər/

    noun
    INFORMAL
    1. a man who carries a gun and shoots well.
"a frontier gunslinger who was quick on the draw"
Some options I’ve put together in Mando’a:

Mando NariTiingilar: Mando Moves Meat or cattle driver
    Iviin'yc Koperar: Fast Shoot
    Iviin'yc tracy'uur: Fast Blaster
    Koperar pirusti: Shoot(s)Well
Tracyn iviin: Fire Speed, fires with speed
    Iviin tracy'uur Speed(y) Blaster

P.S. It was I that said Mandos were rancheros or space cowboys when not being warriors :) :
