To link to a thread in a post you

• Copy the URL of the thread
• Then highlight the text you want to be made as a hyperlink
• In the toolset above (where B = Bold, I = Italics and so forth) to the right of the ‘A’ (for the fonts) is an icon of a chain link.
• Click on the chain link and paste in the URL... and that should create a hyperlink to the thread.

To link to a specific post in a thread... it’s almost the same process but to get that specific URL, you need to click on the number at the bottom right of the post, next to the ‘like’ function... a dialog box will pop up with different link opens and just copy the URL.

Ooo... I do love the sound of an Italian Palazzo...I’m torn between the two.

If the cats don’t work, could always persuade Rapunzel to swing by with Pascal.

The swimming grotto sounds great. It can be a Mermaid’s ‘garden”

 

Pet peeves.... when you're looking for a tool to do a specific task, and you KNOW you've got one and you can't find it, so you have to make do with something else... and you find what you were looking for a week later, exactly where it was supposed to be (and where you had already looked for it).

 

Unrelated. I totally want to join your game, but I know my schedule is kind of LJKFALKFJASFJA; over the next few months. Late applicants accepted?

Now, if I may, I would like to begin campaigning for @Imperial_Hammer to get serious about the Miss America RPG he alluded to in his Summer Games commentary. It needs to happen!

My wife and I recently watched EuroVision: The Story of Fire Saga on Netflix. Movie itself was okay, but the whole time I was thinking about how fun it would be if the concept of EuroVision could work in a Star Wars RPG.

Musical contest with players participating as characters who are representing their home planets. Personal journeys interlaced with how they get along with other competitors interlaced with performing their songs. That last part would be the tricky part of it.

Maybe the Summer Games challenge was the start of a new trend for RPGs featuring competitions?

 

Does anyone else find themselves being constantly re-influenced? For instance, I have my influences for WSMC, and some planned story beats and character personalities that harken back to those influences. But after seeing or reading something new that you’ve never experienced before, do you find yourself going back to your notes and shuffling things around because you’ve got new ideas based on what you’ve just seen?

It’s a blessing and a curse.

Yes! Who wouldn't? Also, what the characters do during the games constantly opens things up in new and unexpected ways. That's what makes the ride fun - you never know how it's gonna end.
