Boba would be in his mid to late 40s by the Mandalorian.

I mean I dunno, he's probably supposed to be 45 or so here and I don't think it's too much of a stretch in terms of how old Morrison actually looks, regardless of the actor's actual age.

The fact that he's been in a Sarlaac's belly and is clearly quite scarred from it also helps with believability.

Fett's been through the ringer and come out the other end. He's been battered. The age issue doesn't concern me.

If Rex is indeed in this as rumoured they'll probably age Temuera up a lot given that Rex would be like 80 in clone years, so Boba will probably look a lot younger in comparison.

I don't think there's anything about how Boba looked that isn't believable anyway, especially for a guy who's lived a rough life. That's without even mentioning what being inside a Sarlaac does to a man.

I do wonder how much they're going to use Boba.

Boba Fett interacted with the Jedi and the Sith quite a lot, so he can pretty much tell Din Djarin everything he needs to know about the Jedi and why is the Child able to do the things he can.

Boba met Darth Tyranus, saw hundreds of Jedi during his lifetime, interacted with Mace Windu, Asajj Ventress, worked for Darth Vader, fought against Luke Skywalker, met Leia Organa, personally knows General Solo and General Calrissian... The list goes on.

He also knows of Yoda, so he could immediately tell Din that the Child is the same species as the most powerful Jedi before the fall of the Old Republic.

Boba also probably knows at least some parts of the Sith Order 66 plan from his dad, when they were still living on Kamino. So he knows how the Jedi were destroyed.

If Boba and Din Djarin simply sit down and talk for couple of hours, he can tell him everything Din needs to know and more. Din should just contact the New Republic and tell them to contact Senator Organa that he has Force sensitive child and that she needs to contact her brother, who's currently starting to rebuild the Jedi Order. That's it, simple, and the story is over :)

The Child will then be killed about 20 years later when Luke's order is destroyed.

If Star Wars has taught me anything it's that popular characters have impeccable plot armor when cataclysmic events like that happen, so I doubt it lol.

I bet Ahsoka will be his next portector and won't be apart of Luke's jedi but be Ahsoka's apprentice as away for not coming into conflict with Luke's temple destruction.

The mandalorian will be his protector for the next 2 series. you know they ain't taking the kid away from him and losing that dynamic, and you know they will wanna keep the show going for a 4th series. so nothing can really come out of series 2

When am saying that Ahsoka will be his next portector i mean when Mando is done and has done his adventures with baby yoda and taken on Gideon and helped restore Mandalore. I think this show dosen't go to far up the timeline, maybe 3 years. They'll keep him as a baby. Series finale we probaly see him giving baby yoda away to Ahsoka.

    Wow. I loved that premiere.

    I'll add:
    3) You can hear the spurs when he walks.

I think that almost makes it certain that it's Fett. I hope so at least. I know some people want him to stay dead, but if the show can make him compelling, then we all win.

It felt like something more from Dune than SW. I get its creepier if it can appear anywhere beneath the sand (A la Worms, Grabiods), but it removes the dragon part, its more of a giant Sand Serpent.

I think it was dragon-y enough personally (lots of mythical dragons are more serpent- than lizard-like) and its design seems to have been based off the skeleton in A New Hope as opposed to the Legends one which was cool but not an especially original design.

The whole theme with the villagers forming an alliance with the Tuskens to deal with the krayt dragon reminded of a similar theme from "The Phantom Menace" in which the Nabooans had to form an alliance with the Gungans to drive out the Trade Federation.

If people are wondering how Boba Fett is still alive, would this be a good explanation: after Jabba's sail barge exploded over the Sarlacc in ROTJ, the explosion killed or severely wounded the Sarlacc, allowing Boba Fett to escape?
