@christophero30 I found out a few months ago the Wii U can play GameCube games, but not directly from the discs. You have to rip them and load them from an SD card.

 

He's more handheld than console now; twisted and portable.

Or I could just buy them on the Switch cause I’m pretty sure like 90% of the first party Wii U games have been ported at this point

Lol when I posted I did try to think of some sort of game system tidbit I could add to the current gaming convo, but I legit have nothing.

Even Mando was a stretch, I am so blah on it & don’t like Mando & Baby Yoda anymore.

Honestly everyone is on the Switch train, but it lacks features that its predecessors had that makes it feel gimmicky. Both the Wii U and the 3DS were backwards-compatible and had the Virtual Console. I understand why the Switch isn't backwards-compatible, but still... but no VC? Why?

 

Playing Wii games on the Wii U is cool. Do you have to use the dumb Wii remote though? Or set up the games with the wii remote like you have to to play GC games on the Wii?

 

If the game requires motion controls, I don’t see how you wouldn’t
