Aren't the clips still on You tube?

I don't think the clips that Lucasfilm released a couple of years ago are still active on any of their official channels (haven't bothered to look), but I did easily find several clips on random youtube pages. I just re-watched the trailer for it, and it's much worse than I remember it being when I first saw it upon announcement. Ugh.

But, as I said in my previous post, if this is indeed finally being released, then I'm happy for the fans that were anticipating this show. I'm just going to stay far away from it.

I say if the show does come out give it a shot. Who knows it might suprise you.

There was some stupid humor, but I liked a good portion of it, too.

The way I see it doesn't matter how bad the show is, in terms of fan divisions, TLJ has already soured a lot of fans off star wars anyway.

So if detours is bad it's not like millions of fans are going to boycott episode 9 because they're doing that already. Worse case scenario we're going to get a lot of click-bait YouTube videos decrying Detours "as the worst thing thing ever, star wars is dead and Kennedy needs to be fired etc"- again stuff that's already online anyway.

Note: I'm not bashing TLJ or anything I'm just pointing out that there'll always been "Negative Nancy's" calling the death of star wars no matter what is released.

There have been people saying Star Wars was dead to them since ESB came out in theaters.

I liked it, I didn’t realise the episodes had such a short runtime though.

I thought there was a nice mix of PT and OT characters and obscure ones at that too which is a plus.

I wonder if this leak was deliberate as an experiment to see if it’s worthwhile them releasing the series.[/QUOTE]

As fun as it may seem, we don't allow the posting of full episodes from unofficial sources, even for cancelled projects.

It was like the second SpongeBob movie. Decent, but nothing truly laugh-worthy.

I think it should see the light of day as it just isn’t fair to the people who worked on it that literally no episode ever made it to air

They should just release the two finished season of this show on Disney Plus.I don’t think anyone will care if it’s good or bad since Disney didn’t make it.

    That was really bad.

If this is how most episodes of that show were, I'm glad they decided to can it.

So Disney will happily release a bunch of Lego Star Wars specials but somehow Detours is too silly for them to take off the shelf?

I'll admit Detours looks a pretty weak but we're not talking about the Mandalorian Season 3 here or the final season of TCW, there's literally nothing for Disney to lose at this point by releasing an unfunny Star Wars cartoon that was never intended to be taken seriously in the first place.

Who knows they might even be able to get a few extra Disney+ subscriptions out of it? And even if it does turn out to be a steaming pile of womp-rat droppings then they can just call it *GEORGE LUCAS'* Star Wars detours and take pleasure in all the 'thank god Disney owns star wars now!' comments.

I would hope that if there were a hypothetical way to watch this leaked episode information about said hypothetical method might find its way into my DMs...

In a recent Seth Green interview for the Rancho Obi-Wan Virtual Gala, he said Ahsoka is in Detours. I think it's new info?

He also said he talked to Lucasfilm as recently as a year ago and they came to the conclusion it was still not an appropriate time for release.

The year will be 2030, we'll have had 5+ seasons of the Mandalorian and it's various spin offs, the Kenobi show will be onto it's third 'limited series', the production of the second Taika Watititi led movie trilogy will be ramping up.

Yet Detours will still remain on the shelf for fear of 'Star Wars fatigue'.

I think Detours is on the shelf, cause after GL left, Lucasfilm/Disney didn't think its good enough.

And from what little leaked about Detours, I'm glad they put it on that shelf and I hope it stays there permanently.

I did see it before it was taken down. It wasn't particularly funny, but it also wasn't particularly offensive. Shocking that after the CW series and before the sale, this was basically the future of SW. Still, I think it should eventually get released. I don't see how it’s any different to the LEGO shows they do.

It's more Robot Chicken than LEGO Star Wars, but you're right. Their pathetic excuses to not release Detours don't hold any water considering what they have released ever since they got the franchise.

Lucasfilm: 'We are very careful when it comes to maintaining the image of the Star Wars as a brand and take extra care to make sure what we release is of the highest quality so that all fans will enjoy.'

I'm pretty sure after TLJ released that excuse no longer held any water.
