    I have a task!

Layout a plan you would use against Jedi in a fight. Would you change anything fighting a Sith?

Well the ade are back in school today, so my time is suddenly my own again. :p I have a task for all, but as I don't want to interfere with @E. L.Knight 's task I will hold off for a bit to allow all mando'ade to tackle them consecutively rather than concurrently.

I, Mesh'la Choruk, have no personal dislike for Jedi. That said, if a Jedi invited me to spar with them, I would not decline the invitation.

My strategy as I attempted to win this friendly competition would be to get in close and drag my opponent down to the ground as quickly as possible. My reasoning for this is that, while it has been documented that the Force can offer one a significant advantage in an armed duel or in a fistfight, I suspect it likely that in a wrestling match, the laws of physics might even the field.

Were I to find myself in the necessity of fighting a Sith, I would throw everything I know about fighting fair out the window, and use every single dirty trick in the kriffing book. Faced with such a situation, I also would find no shame in calling for backup.

    Apologies for not replying sooner.

I myself, Jaster Ordo, have little use for Jedi and their so called peaceful justice and if payed the right price I would not hesitate to take one out. However, the Jedi do at least have some honor, unlike the Sith, so I would at least give them a honorable fight (for the most part). Facing a Jedi or Sith is tricky due to that blasted Force of theirs, but not impossible. If Lord Maul has taught as Mando's nothing, is that the Jedi are compassionate and is perhaps their biggest weakness. Exploiting this weakness could make your opponent unstable and prone to mistakes (this is especially effective against less well trained padawans). However, I don't care for this frankly cowardice method and in fact is one of the reasons why I left my former commander Gar Saxon.

Looking through our records on encounters with force users one thing is clear to me: stay as far away from a Jedi/Sith as you can and protect your jet pack at all costs. Are only real advantage is our tech and our wits. We must be like our ancient god Hod Ha'ran and become the ultimate trickster to the Jedi. Fly around and use any sort of weaponry to distract them, like constantly blasting them with lasers bolts combined with either small rockets or flames. If your lucky this will off balance the Jedi enough you can move in close and perhaps use blades if your bold (or stupid) or use saberdarts at a decent range for a killing blow. Again, this only if your lucky and in general I would just keep moving with your jet pack if you can, using any kind of weaponry that the Jedi can't easily deflect. Using his rocket launcher and his wrist grappling hook was also surprisingly effective methods Jango Fett used against the Jedi Kenobi, so perhaps look into his methods (he did manage to kill a dark Jedi on a moon of Bogden after all).

As for Sith, I agree with Mesh'la Choruk in that you should play dirty and throw everting at them. They have no honor and will fight without mercy, so you must become equally ruthless and completely destroy them without mercy. One warning though for both Jedi and Sith. If you face someone on the same level as say our former "ally" Count Dooku than you will likely not survive the battle. Unless the ghost of Tarre Viszla is with you, facing such beings as Dooku or Luke Skywalker will likely be fatal. However, do not run from them, but face your likely death with honor and at least show them why we are proud to be Mandalorians. We are not a cowardice people, so even with certain death we must always fight no matter what.

That is all my knowledge of fighting force users unfortunately, as my travels throughout the galaxy, bounty hunting, has not led me to many such encounters. I'll have to ask Boba Fett when I see him again, as he has way more experience on the matter then me. Last I heard he was meeting up with someone named Udelen from Nar Shaddaa on Mandalore.

I don't have much of a quarrel with the jedi as i and my clan fought with them during the siege of Mndalore and during the imperial occupation. But if a jedi attacked mandalore or myself i wouldn't hesitate to attack.

I would have first flown into the air with my jetpack to get the high ground ( which works especially well against fallen jedi :p) Then fired missiles which would
hopefully killed them but if not i would send out a frequency to disorientate the jedi and the land. i would draw my beskad and fight the jedi blade to blade while firing my flametrower at regular intervals which can not be blocked by their lightsaber. If their force hindered me i would withdraw and fire whistling birds which would hopefully overwhelm them, but i am confident i could defeat the jedi in a duel.

When it comes to sith i would have more or less the same strategy, but be more offensive i feel with sith fight rage with rage.

With a Jedi I would appeal to their sense of serenity, dignity, and peace, perhaps getting them to rethink fighting and resume diplomacy. If this fails I’d still appeal to their sense of serenity and then suprise them with flurry of attacks from my blaster and wrist flamethrower.

With a Sith I’d toss thermal detonators, rocket into the sky, and unleash a barrage of blaster fire. Anything to keep a distance from their Force Grip, Dominate Mind, and Force Drain powers.

Although if they do this you’re in peril in the sky:

Kylo stops a ship in the sky with the Force.

In that case it behooves one to have some Force training like Tarre Vizsla so as to resist Dominate Mind and repel the Sith’s more cunning attacks.

    The Mand’alor
    [IMG]

In Season 2 of The Mandalorian Bo-Katan wanted to take the Throne of Mandalor, to do this she needs the Darksaber.

I was wondering, aside from the Darksaber, does the Manda’lor have other symbolic armor and robes like Manda’lor The Great who wore golden Beskar and red robes?

I've enjoyed a lot of this guy's videos on medieval weaponry, and I think he knows what he's talking about. He has some interesting thoughts on the beskar spear.

There was the mask of mandalore the first, which was passed down between the first three mandalores ending with manda'lor the ultimate.

Thank you Vod, that is really cool. Did the helm get lost after Revan slayed Manda’lor the Great or is somewhere on Malchor IV or Mandalore?
