My main reason for not believing her to be a jango clone is the skin tone, her accent and how she's dressed. Her jewlery looks like what the people of kamino wears like that one who works for Palpatine.

That doesn’t mean she is a Jango clone, but the only people we have seen with the accent are Jango and his clones at least as far as I remember. So either she is a Jango clone or hangs out with them enough.

She could be a clone of anyone and her classmates would still rub off on her. She's surrounded by Jango clones. Raise an Irish kid in South Africa or Bogota and they'll more than likely pick up the local dialect.

Oh I know, but accents are weird. The clones themselves shouldn’t have Kiwi accents. But they do. Becuase DNA I guess.

Instead of Palpatine jr could we see the origin story of Rey's mom.

I'm like 90% sure Omega is a female, going by how she looks compared to other Clone Cadets, her voice, demeanor, etc. Which does open up some interesting doors. Is she a mutated Fett clone? Is she strandcast? Is she cloned from another template? Or something else?

This is both baffling and interesting to me. She’s absolutely clearly female, in my mind, especially when watching the clip from Kamino. This could be the blue-gold dress debate of our age, only infused with gender politics.

It may be better to refer to Omega as they/them until we know for sure, to avoid potentially upsetting some people.
    It would fit the timeline.

They should go bold and just have Omega as a 'human' with no specific gender. Makes sense if you are trying to create the perfect (super)soldier.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Omega's female, but why would they even create a female clone?

Why not? It could have been an accident, or intentional. But I think it would be interesting. Female clones would probably do similar or different things, combat wise then their brothers.

Yeah, I just don't see why they'd put the time into it.

I feel like it wouldn't be too far of a stretch to assume that Kamino would start making female clones. I mean, there's nothing stopping them really (except the Empire) and it would make their army more diverse etc.

But, what would their purpose be, I don't think they really have any skills that the normal clones don't.

I think first of a new clone that Palpatine is behind.

Film and TV don't really think about how accents can be picked up by what's around them. usually its based on genetics to make it easier to connect them to a perantage.

Oh totally. Like how I have a weird mix of a broader New England Accent due to my friends living in New England, but I still held onto my Canadian accent as well due to my parents.

Women have lots of skills that men (generally) don’t possess.

Her outfit looks kind of Mandalorian. Maybe she's a clone of Satine or some other mando, and the plan is to make her a new ruler for Mandalore.

i know, she couldn't do much more than shoot a blaster, right? I'd get it if she had something else ( which she might.) like the rest of the bad batch.

I think by the later part of the war, Jango's DNA was too far stretched and probably damaged and all of that kinda thing, and maybe they were unable to salvage the Y chromosome. So they started creating a female genetic twin kinda like X 23 in Marvel. Likely this kid is some kinda unique prodigy again and this show will focus around her.

Lots of possibilities. I can remember in Clone Cadets when the Kaminoans were asking the Jedi to consider a new clone template because the Jango genotype or whatever was stretched too far. Maybe @Vorax is right and the continued stretching created accidents like flipping the switch to result in a female clone or even a genderless one. Another possibility is if they did an experiment on creating a force-sensitive person a Jango clone was used for the experiment since they are already abundantly produced on Kamino. Introducing biology to create force sensitivity or even genetic material from someone else to do it flipped the chromosome. I know I'm really out there with this but I can facial resemblance to both a Jango clone and Palpatine when I look at Omega and compare the models.

Maybe there is a connection with Palpatine's old Children of the Force plan which could even tie into Grogu's arc in The Mandalorian. Speaking of Grogu, it is a brilliant old trick on the showrunner's part. Folks are worried this is some sort of rehash of Grogu but Omega has gone her job in getting me hyped that there will be a mystery element and some lore to explore on a show about five crazy machine gun shooting muscle heads. And doesn't Hunter seem to already show some more depth in the trailer when he is interacting with the kid? Kids and Clones were a great combination in "Innocence of Ryloth" and "The Deserter". I mean Star Wars best dad is pretty much Din Djarin vs Cut Lawquane.

I'll be interested to delve into these mysteries.

Plus we have all those "strand cast" cloning mentioned in The Mando and TROS.
