Spoiler When Sam was talking Walker down, I was feeling hopeful that things would end well, right up to the moment when Sam said he'd have to give up the shield. The moment he said it I thought "No! Too soon! You should have talked him down some more before trying to disarm him." Sure enough, things headed south instantly. It momentarily broke my suspension of disbelief, because with all his counseling experience Sam should have known better than to force that issue so quickly. He should have played it smarter than that.
Spoiler I think Zemo is going exactly where he wants to be. Heck, Steve (one super soldier) broke all his friends out of the RAFT so I doubt Zemo stays there for long.
I don't think so he will. He has survived the MCU so far. As for a very likely spin off series... Spoiler Truth: Red, White and Black As for that cameo appearance in the latest episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, that character was suppose to be... Spoiler introduced first in the Black Widow movie. Marvel Has Big Plans for That Surprise Falcon and the Winter Soldier Cameo Which would have most likely made that scene where the character appeared to feel differently with more context.
An interesting point being made is that Spoiler Sharon Carter is the Power Briker because she uses an Android phone. The thing is that Apple seems to have a rule that iPhones cannot be used/shown in movies/tv in general being used by bad guys/vilains. So, one less mistery in the show
Spoiler be interesting to see if Walker goes vigilante and the goverment arrests him and sends him to the Raft. I feel a Thunderolts or Dark Avengers possibility. then a new Avengers team will have to be assembled and...okay i'm reading ahead
Y’know Walker’s shield that he’s making? And y’know that photograph of him and Lemar that Lemar’s family gave him? I wouldn’t be surprised if we see it again, taped on the inside of the shield Walker’s making, for both extra messed-up and pity points. He’s already putting his medals of honor on the outside as a sign of his pride, a picture on the inside might serve as a sign of his sorrow and brokenness. And the fact he’s almost certainly going to be breaking that shield in violent combat is just going to make it all worse... I love crazy, baseless speculation! Imagine if you will, something like this: - Thunderbolts gets produced, with a collection fo villains trying to make good. - Then the Young Avengers form as a youthful representation of the good the OG Avengers inspired. - But the next adult Avengers team to show up is actually Dark Avengers (complete with a minor key, descending version of the Silvestri theme!) - The Dark Avengers end up beating down, killing, or capturing the Thunderbolts when the T-bolts realize what the DAs are, with the DAs covering it up as putting down some backsliding villains. - The Young Avengers get targeted next, and right at this moment when the audience has every reason to despise and fear the DAs... that’s when you have a new heroic adult Avengers team show up.
Another moment about Episode 4 that hit me as an "if you know, you know" moment: Spoiler Walker and the Dora Milaje ALL had the *exact same* level of jurisdiction in Latvia. They were all in pursuit of an escapee who was guilty of the murder of US diplomats (in the case of Great Value Cap*) and the Head of State (in the case of the Dora Milaje); but the white guy assumed that Black people were somewhere they didn't belong. *Side note: I can't with some of the nicknames that Walker has been given
as i said before i really don't think Bucky should still be called Winter Soldier. none of his allies do. so....season 2.... Spoiler Captain America and White Wolf
So I'm finally getting to see this - ok that skydiving scene in ep 1 was astonishing , I mean that was movie action quality.
Walker hammering a star on a dustbin lid was hilarious It’s the equivalent of a man who gets fired, but still wears a suit, and carries a briefcase - but just sits in the park all day
We've made the joke that because shorten the show to "Winter Falcon" we were going through S2 potential names and were like "Captain Wolf... White America... no, no, hard pass..."
read a headline somewhere that Marvel is submitting to the Emmys Falcon and Winter Solider as dramatic series and Wandavision as a miniseries which hopefully is a good sign that F&WS would get a S2. Wandavision by contrast is absolutely a miniseries but this feels like it could go on forever.
Season two will be were Joaquin Torres taking Sam's broken wings and learn to fly (again?) and learn to live so free.
IIRC, John Walker's wife said the card was blank. But perhaps with the correct lighting/decoding it will say, "See Black Widow on July 9, 2021 in theaters or on Disney+ with Premiere Access. Tell a friend."
