    The Continental details:

    -Prequel, set 40 years before John Wick, during the 1970's NYC garbage strike.
    -Focuses on a young Winston (Ian McChane's character).
    -Format will be three, 90-minute episodes. Eeach episode will revolve around a different event.

    Oooh very interesting. I like it. So basically three movies we're getting there.

    Has anyone else seen Nobody? It's like a funnier John Wick, from the same writer. It may in fact exist in the same universe. I loved it.

    I'll probably still watch it. I've seen films that he's directed and Hacksaw Ridge is amazing. Just kinda need to separate the person and the film for me.

    Honestly, I get the feeling Gibson's character will be kinda like Mister Roarke on Fantasy Island. "Welcome to the Continental blah blah blah" and the story would be about whoever rolls up in the hotel that week.

    I think I have to take the same approach. I'm really curious about this series and the Wickverse, and, I'll admit, that Santa movie Gibson did last year, Fatman, had me interested in how crazy it is. His personal flaws aside, I do appreciate Mel's willingness to take on crazy projects, even when they don't always work out.
