A longstanding headcanon that I've had is that the female Jedi on the left (the one in the unique robes) is Vima Sunrider, since she vaughly resembles the concept art from when Vima was going to be Bastila. In regards to the KOTOR Jedi Council, my headcanon is that Vander was the Grandmaster and Kavar the Master of the Order (the Mandalorians assumed Kavar would lead the Jedi into the war, and dialogue in KOTOR indicates the plan to go underground to lure the Sith out was his). Kreia was chief librarian (though perhaps not a member of the council) before she left the order, and before becoming Master of the Order Kavar was battlemaster (with Dorjander Kace and then Zez-Kai-Ell succeeding him after he was promoted). Four of the seven empty seats in the KOTOR II flashback belong to Vandar, Vima and the two other unnamed masters from the ending of K2, who were not present for the Exile's trail (presumably Vandar was on Dantooine). I think it's pretty funny in retrospect that he (and a lot of fans) think he's such an amazing marksmen because he can shoot large animals with a giant airgun that probably uses a fairly advanced targeting system to aim. But I appreciate the fact that Lucas probably overestimated how big a meter was and, to be fair, Luke's a hick who grew up around hicks, so maybe he was just trying to boast and didn't realize the people he was boasting to aren't as dense as his usual crowd a Toshi Station. I definitely think they fit the characters pretty well; Dinklage definitely has the likeness of a cunning Dark Side wizard sitting on an ancient Sith throne in the promo picks for GoT season 8. Merili being van Houten is, I'll admit, based less on her appearance (Merili only has one picture of her in existence, and she doesn't really look all that much like van Houten - in fact, if anything she looks a bit like Lena Headey!) and more on the fact that A) their both magic wielding prophetess and B) both attached themselves to an unhappy, duty-minded military commander during a period of civil war and seduced him to their religion, then used their influence to manipulate and control them. I have a bunch of other headcanon castings that I cling to (coincidentally, more than a few of them involve Thrones actors). Spoilers because of the image-heavy nature of the following post (I tried to get everyone's pictures to match the characters as closely as possible). Spoiler: Images Roganda Ismaren = Natalie Dormer Ulic Qel-Droma = Kit Harington Cay Qel-Droma = Richard Madden (these two really work for me because, not only did they already play brothers, but IMO Snow fits the more dour and gruff Ulic - who even ends up self-exiled in an icy wasteland! - while Robb matches the more charismatic and dashing Cay) Nomi Sunrider = Sophie Turner Queen Amanoa = Diana Rigg Princess/Queen Galia = Eva Green Oron Kira = Jason Momoa Exar Kun = Benedict Cumberbatch Aleema Keto and Satal Keto = Katie McGrath and Tom Hiddleston Empress Teta = Gal Gadot Canderous Ordo = Ron Perlman Booster Terrik = also Ron Perlman, lol (maybe Booster is distantly descended from Clan Ordo or something, I dunno) Kirana Ti = Rachel Luttrell Garm Bel-Iblis = Sean Connery Gilad Pellaeon = Edward Hardwicke (that Pellaeon is the Watson to Thrawn's Sherlock had nothing to do with this, I swear) Thalassa Tarkin = Helen McCrory Lord Kaan = Alan Rickman Githany = Naomi Scott Darth Bane = Tom Hardy Those are just some big ones that have stuck with me for a while now Well played... Thanks. I was basing the Moff's territories on the sectors where the planet's they suggested for a new base in the book were (minus Disra - I decided his territory based on the territory he eventually came to control towards the end of the Legends civil war) - Dunhausen suggests Tatooine and Thistleborn got replaced by Adelhard because he suggested Bespin (Hissa suggests Hoth, but A) I think Legends confirmed he was the Moff of Kessel and B) Hoth is in Anoat, which would be Thistleborn/Adelhard's territory - maybe he took part in the Hoth Campaign and the system was thus added to his sphere of influence after the Rebels were driven out as a reward?) Believe it or not but this is actually the first time I've heard of Noval Garaint (though I defiantly remember the face from Rebellion). Given that his group apparently exists in canon I could definitely see him their (perhaps the Kheedar Ring are allies of the Pykes?) I like that; in my headcanon though I'd imagine Trioculus wanted to operate out of Coruscant but was simply cut off by the ongoing war and the disintegration of the Empire (his lack of ability to be anywhere near the capital is part of the reason Amedda is just willing to be "whatever" regarding his claim and neither outright consent or oppose his ascension = he has more important things to deal with, and Trioculus is both not an immediate threat to him but also has a fair chance of rallying the Empire and stopping the collapse simply by existing). I'd forgotten about Grunger. But that's fine; he works well as another self-proclaimed emperor (albeit one without Trioculus "legitimacy" and support, as their would probably be a number of those), operating out of Mandalorian Space (having probably robbed Moff Gideon of most of his fleet when he went rogue while also robbing the Empire of another of it's vaunted and valuable SSDs). And their concepts are bland in their everything
This actually reminds me of something I thought about after the release of Fallen Order... what if Trilla isn't the original Second Sister? In the Darth Vader comics, we saw that there were already Inquisitors right after the formation of the Empire. I feel like the implication was actually that the Inquisitors were created even before the rise of the Empire, during the Clone Wars. But Trilla didn't become an Inquisitor right away. Her eventual capture and gradual torture took time. So why is her rank Second Sister when she wasn't one of the original Inquisitors? Admittedly, I don't really know how the ranking works with the Inquisitors but it doesn't really seem to indicate who has authority over who with the exception of the Grand Inquisitor. The numbering just seems like a convenient way to keep track of the Inquisitors and the numbering doesn't seem to change, but there had to have been a Second Brother or Sister when the organization was created. My best guess is that something happened to the Second Brother or Sister and Trilla took their place because there had to be a Second Brother or Sister. I don't know, it's just something that bothers me.
@CosmoHender that's definitely a possibility. Based on how Fallen Order depicted things Trilla and Care were captured at some point after the Inquisitors had moved their headquarters to Nur, so the former definitely wasn't one of the original recruits. Maybe Barris was the original Second Sister but had a change of heart/was killed early on (looking at Legends other candidates for potential predecessors for Trilla are Hydra and Lanu Pasiq) I'm not sure how the Brother/Sister things work; it could be ranking (Trilla seems to call the shots relative to Ninth Sister and Fifth Brother talks to Seventh Sister at one point that indicates she doesn't really have grounds to question what he says), but it might not. Weirdly Prosett Dibs is the lowest ranked Inquisitor (that we know of) despite having formally been a Jedi Master of some esteem prior to his fall from grace, which one would think would warrant a high rank (even if the titles are just a prestige thing) both based on experience and ability to lead (perhaps his low rank was because Palpatine never fully trusted that he was truly committed to the Inquistorius's cause?). (my headcanon is definitely that Jerec was either the First Brother or the Second Brother, depending on whether or not the title of First Brother/Sister is a codename that belongs to the grand inquisitor or not)
I wonder if the Empire had more fancy titles and Forceuser groups aside Inquisitors, Imperial Hands, Mouths, Reachs, Sith Acolytes, Assassins, Lords, the Prophets of the Dark Side (fake and real) as well as Cronal and other sorcerers with many serving multiple roles and group memberships or even the High Procurator of Justice Hethir. Byss and Exegols forceusing guards come to mind too. Was there a Low Procurator? Or any aside him? Jerec as First Brother I like but what then would you call his lot of apprentices/Force Agents? Among them was at least one who also was a member of other imperial Forceuser groups, aka Prophetess/Sariss. I like to headcanon that Baris was released before the wars end because Palpatine knew Order 66 was up soon and her dying along it would look better than execution beforehand. He made a deal with the Council to reinstate her under guard of a group of Jedi along with a "Padawan" that would watch out for her and she got released to active frontline duty after proofing herself in the temple first. Luckily, they evaded Order 66 for a time being. Some Hapan headcanon: The early Cluster was pretty much a Game of Thrones literally. When the Jedi defeated the Lorell Raiders and the women were left in charge hidden within the clusters hidden inner worlds, it wasn't as easy as them becoming Dragonqueens and raising their sons as future mates to keep going, they didn't immedeately raid worlds for men to keep their culture going either. Instead, it was a progress: At first the women survived on their own with their young sons as only males around. They had adopted raider duties before already with few joining the raiders on missions even "recruiting" new young females from nearby worlds. Over generations already adapted to a live as raider wifes and female raiders they knew how to fight and sat on treasures and supplies to last them a hundred lifetimes. While some advocated to trade with the galaxy, others preferred warrior culture and to become the new raiders themselves. The younger asked to return to the worlds they had been taken from even. But before any consensus could be achieved, something else happened. Some raiders survived the Jedi onslaught and returned, hoping to be the last remaining men in a kingdom of women, welcomed back like kings and their orders followed blindly. Instead though, the women leashed out to keep their newfound freedom. Some fearing freedom and anything new had too quickly fallen into old patterns and joined the returnees side. A hapan civil war emerged with some men entrenched on outer worlds with their harems vs. the inner worlds emerging free women movement and matriarchy. Careful not to raid outside the cluster to not awaken the Jedi to their survival again, the Lorell Raiders kept pressing attacks on the inner worlds as those attempted to break through and outside the cluster too. What happened next was as tragic as it was formative for the cluster as we know it. The fierce women proved too strong and they pushed through the raiders blockade and reinforced themselves by raiding outside the cluster where they became known as the fierce Queenmothers and Dragonqueens of legend. Of course this altered the Jedi who luckily were more busy elsewhere in the galaxy with wars against the Sith, so a Jedi taskforce nevertheless was sent to the cluster to stop any new Raiderthreat. Trapped between the women and the incoming Jedi, the male holdouts were quickly decimated. But the Jedi did not stop there and moved further not knowing the women and men had been in a civil war. They intended to end raids once and for all, even established a small outpost in the outer regions of the cluster for a short while to fuel their push inward. This lead to the modern hatred of the clusters women towards the Jedi, as it took quite some time to defeat these new enemies and push them out of their cluster. The busier the war outside grew, the less Jedi came and they could keep the cluster and for safety closed off their borders from the war outside as well as the Jedi. Except for those few Jedi that got captued and studied as well as bred within the closed borders. Another headcanon: The Thala-Siren from TLJ was Luke Skywalkers wife. Mistaking her for an animal was a gross humanocentric misunderstanding by Rey. Furthermore, to Luke she looked very different than to Rey and us, as the species posesses powers of illusion that can enchant someone to see who they want to see in them (kinda like Legends Lifewitches).
My current headcanon is that Barriss was the original Second Sister, but only briefly. She secretly tried to undermine the efforts of her fellow Inquisitors and help the Jedi fugitives, her efforts quickly being discovered and exposed by Darth Vader. He didn't really like Barriss very much and even less so after she betrayed the Empire. Because betrayal is kind of her thing, honestly. She failed as a Jedi and she failed as an Inquisitor.
While I stick to my headcanon about her, I kinda like this. So in your version, does she attempt to bomb the Jedi Temple again, only now it is the Imperial Palace?
Nah, it's more subtle. She spreads false information and tries to stall or delay her fellow Inquisitors in order to give Jedi fugitives a chance to escape. Little acts of sabotage so that she can remain undetected and avoid suspicion, only pretending to go along with everything. But Vader saw right through her act.
Now I am curious how she and Head Inquisitor Ferus Olin work against each other not knowing they are on the same side... I mean, canon Inquisitors aside, looks like the Legends Inquisitors, unnumbered and more diverse were a rival order where Palpatine sent all he did not trust to pretend they are Inquisitors and work against each other lol
The armor worn by Imperial Army Troopers in cold environments is just the unused Snowtrooper armor concept from the McQuarrie ESB art (like the snowtrooper armor it evolved from the HT-77 armor of the cold assault Clone Troopers) Also Imperial Fleet Troopers and the Imperial Marines are the same service (Imperial Marines is the name of the branch, while fleet/navy troopers are the name of soldiers), and were formed out of the Galactic Marines after the end of the Clone Wars (they were transferred from the authority of the army to the navy in the process and greatly expanded in order to better operate within the size of the rapidly-expanding Imperial Fleet). Due to overlapping duties they eventually became rivals of the Stormtrooper Corps, and after the latter organization was dissolved following the civil war they became the canon Imperial Remnant's elite shock troops. It's nice to know someone thinks so
I think you underestimate the speeds involved. 2 meters is a big target if you are stationary, it is a very difficult target to hit as you fly by in a jet.
Because of Kamino's lack of diverse terrain and atmospheres, the clone army would often train on remote planets in the Rishi Maze.
People as of 130 ABY forgot about Tarkin's atrocities, yet never forgave Kyp Durron, the shadow of his sins became greater with time in the collective mind while Tarkin's diminished.
That's fair; though given the size of the gun on ae Skyhopper I'd think it would be hard to miss anything, if only because you could just hit the general area and probably kill it. I always thought the Kaminoans were using something akin to Trek holodecks myself; I definitely feel like something at least as basic as the rec decks from TAS should be within SW's ability to create based on the holographic technology we've seen displayed in canon (actually holodecks would definitely have been possible in Legends). I've actually always assumed that to be the case within the territories of the Legends Remnant - Kyp was always villainized (there's talk of extraditing him by Daala when she's head-of-state, IIRC) and the myth of a "Jedi Plot" to overthrow the Republic was still taught in history class even after the New Jedi Order became nominal allies, while New Order architects like Tarkin were essentially whitewashed by history (heck, even Palpatine was probably painted as a good man who gradually became insane due to injuries suffered by the Jedi Plot and was manipulated by courtiers like Vader and Pastege, who as dead traitors could be safely scapegoated, with the clone Palpatine probably dismissed as a pretender or something by later generations). Pellaeon and the Fel Emperors would obviously have opposed such teachings, but their attempts at "educational reform" were probably blocked by the moffs until the civil war between Roan and Krayt allowed the Fels free reign to affect such things without interferance from the council.
https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Mitth'raw'nuruodo_Reconsidered:_A_Patriot's_Perspective That's all pretty much Legends canon, even, going by EGTW. I'd even say that Krayt's reign would help whitewash Palpatine's. Krayt's atrocities in a lot of ways surpassed a lot of Palpatine's Empire's, and he took a more personal hand in them, while Palpatine can be excused in-universe as being generally hands-off. Thus, in time, and with the continued existence of the Remnant, I think Palpatine in Legends is likely to be viewed by history as more of a Napoleon, Alexander of Julius Caesar. Additionally, its legends canon that the Imperial Knights learned synthetic crystal creation from Palpatine's Book of Anger, and their armor is clearly inspired by Vader's. So yeah, I'd say the Remnant and Felpire have a lot of Palpatine left in them, in cultural views at least.
The Attack of the Clones Cross Section book did indeed show the Kaminoans creating artificial environments for training (though not with holograms).
That makes a lot of sense, after all Carida was a big part of Imperial culture and Military customs, which is the backbone of the Empire, Kyp just destroyed a big part of what made the Empire, along with bringing a level of cosmic destruction that wasn't seen ever since the Cron Drift Supernova during the Great Sith War, Tarkin by comparison did a very minor thing for them, not only was Alderaan a mostly isolated world in the Empire's culture and very different from them, but also there's plenty of propaganda surrounding the event in the future. I agree that the Moff Council would have further demonized the Jedi from 130-137 ABY, maybe bringing up all the times Fallen Jedi ruined things for everyone in the Galaxy (similar to the NR council's complaints in NJO), with figures like Kyp, Vader, Kueller, Brakiss, and even Luke Skywalker in the time of the Dark Empire, to further isolate them from the rest of the Galaxy (along with the bounty) and making the Sith and the Empire seem like better options than the Jedi (remember that the average person isn't aware of the Sith being the Jedi pretty much). This also ties back to the Imperial Knights keeping some teachings from Vader, given he was a fallen Jedi, they wouldn't appreciate that, and also since they are basically Imperial Jedi.
I was board so I came up with a bunch of headcannons. -Legends Rukh is the son of Canon Rukh. -Fennec Shand is either the mother or aunt of Crokind Shand. -Plif, after becoming a senator in the New Republic, was a moderate Centrist who was unaware/uninvolved with the ties to the First Order. He's a Centrist purely based on ideology, believing that having a less-powerful galactic government would endanger his homeworld more than not. -Amongst the Gektl, Stafuv Rahz is basically seen as a combination of Benedict Arnold and Adolf Hitler. Years after the fall of the Empire, Hoszh Iszhir throws an annual holiday where young Gektl throw rotten eggs at a statue of Stafuv and the people write hate pottery about him, to be read out loud at a public gathering. -Grand Moff Muzzer's favorite drink is Sprite while Grand Moff Dunhausen's favorite drink is Coca-Cola. Grand Moff Thistleborn, on the other hand, hates soda because it rots your teeth. So he drinks Dasani. XD -The Republic's senate had a great number of political parties about a great number of issues (like the UK/Canada). The New Republic, on the other hand, only has a couple parties and they are very divided around a core set of issues (like the US). -Jahan Cross once hunted down a dangerous Shi'ido criminal though the casinos and streets of Canto Bight. -The Mnggal-Mnggal is incredibly evil, but also incredibly lonely. -When she was a kid, Jaina Solo's favorite game was Drone-Blaster. -At one point, while out in Wild Space investigating some unknown planets for resources to make a profit on, the Corporate Sector Authority discovers a violent and terrifying alien. Shenanigans ensure. -Whatever species Alissyndrex delga Cantonica Provincion is are the native species of Cantonica. -Danielle Kieran eventually confronts Han Solo.
The Rukh lineage! While the father died fighting in the name of Thrawn, used until his last breath, the son assassinated Thrawn, avenging his people and his father with them! This is the best headcanon i ever read, i love this, we need Senator Plif for real now, given they are actually bringing back a lot of the early Marvel stuff like Valance, we might get this, who knows, making him a Centrist, opposed to Leia's beliefs, is also very clever and would make for cool drama. It actually lines up very well with what we see of the PT politics in the Legends books and what we see of the NR in Bloodlines, considering Canon isn't different in the Prequel Era politics at all, given TCW and ROTS deleted scenes, with all the different points of view on the Jedi, the Chancellor, Corruption, the war, Separatism, etc. And in Canon NR politics are basically Centrists vs Populists, this could be considered not a headcanon but an actual observation of the Galaxy's politics as they are. I can picture her wanting Jacen to play with her, while Jacen is all concentrated in his fancy animal collection and isn't interested in the game at all, then Anakin joins in and in only a couple of minutes playing he becomes better than her, because we all know Anakin was such a prodigy, making Jaina quit playing the game. This is perfectly in-character. Make a movie out of this, it would sell tickets for sure "Star Wars vs Alien" it sells itself. Thank you for bringing this character to my attention, how could i not know about her? The very concept is hilarious.
Yeah, I vaguely remember that - I knew I was basing this idea on *something*! There's also this, which is said to have been "popular" and "compelling." I'd go with him being viewed as mix of Julius and Augustus myself; or even, for more recent "revolutionaries who overthrew the old order but were in fact brutal tyrants", like Stalin and Mao are viewed in Russia and China in a much more positive light then elsewhere. I wasn't aware that was how the knights made their lightsabers, but I defiantly noticed that their armor was similar to Vader (and the Royal Guards) and that they had a vague connection to the Inquisitors (Antares, IIRC, is implied to be descended from Valin Draco). Before Legend's ceased I was pretty convinced that the origin of the group was going to lie with Tahiri Veila and an aged Kir Kanos forming them at the direction of Jaina Solo after Jagged inevitably became emperor, and I think that still works as a headcanon (I did wonder if maybe Tremayne might have been involved in forming the group as well - assuming he was still around at that point - but I prefer to think that he ended up joining with Krayt's Sith on Korriban and becoming the leader of his Sith Inquisitors*). *Darth Inquisitorius? Maybe? Or Darth Inquestor? I can't see the text, so it might be that this is said, but is the idea that you change the climate and then fill the room with whatever you need to make the terrain you want to simulate (dirt, grass and (fake?) trees, artificial snow, ect), or is it just different rooms representing different "zones". If so, either one are definitely workable explanations for how the clones can get trained for different climates I'd still prefer some sort of "holodeck" (but admittedly I'm biased by being a fan of ST as well as SW). Exactly; I'm not trying to justify Tarkin's actions or draw a moral equivalence here, but historically it's fairly easily for victorious powers to justify (or even ignore) major crimes committed by their forces while simultaneously demonizing their enemy for the same thing; for instance the firebombings of Dresden and Tokyo are often rationalized as "necessities" or "tragic side effects of war" relative to the act of evil that the Blitz is portrayed as - there's also people like William T. Sherman, who are viewed as heroes despite arguably being war criminals. Overall I'd imagine Tarkin is villainized everywhere but Eriadu and in Imperial Space, while Kyp is viewed as a hero (albeit one that probably serves as a lightning rod for controversy and divisive opinions) everywhere except Imperial Space and within enclaves of the surviving Cardian population. I definitely think that the Sith would serve as a useful scapegoat for a lot of the old Empire's failings; remember most people weren't even aware that Palpatine WAS a Sith, while Vader (who wasn't exactly the most popular with the military rank-and-file who ultimately became the Empire's leaders after Endor) was widely known to be not only a Sith, but the "Dark Lord of the Sith." It would probably be pretty easy to spin Vader and other Darksiders who were known to have had Palpatine's ear (like Kadann, Cronal and Roganda) has having used their influence to corrupt/mislead Palpatine (that Vader, Kadann and Roganda were all former Jedi certainly wouldn't help their image either, assuming the Empire still believes Palpatine's propaganda about the Order's attempted coup and orchestration of the Clone Wars), and then dismissed the reborn Palpatine as a clone with no true connection to the real emperor created by the Dark Side Elite to usurp control of what was left of the Empire; After all, even Jedi like Tionne had doubts the clone was actually him... "Although these insights from the mind of Darth Sidious are nearly priceless in their historical value, it is important to point out the fact that Palpatine's numerous clones were indeed just that—clones. The possibility remains that the former Emperor's clones only believed themselves to be the real Palpatine." (and I think Mara says something somewhere about doubting it was "really" him as well) Nahdonnis Praji also says this to Voren Na'al years after Shadow Hand. "Delusions of grandeur, hah! But now the physical incarnation of the phrase was staring me in the face, and I don't mind telling you I didn't care for it at all." Which *could* be read in a way that indicates Praji though the Reborn Palpatine was just imagining he was the real Palpatine (though it could also be read as him just realizing how megalomaniacal and egotistic Palpatine actually was, which might actually be the intent of the Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Praji) Interesting catch with the Shands (maybe Nar Kranji is Fennec's homeworld?) My headcanon for Danielle Kieren is that she exists in canon, but was born four years later; she's the daughter of Han and Qi'ra and was conceived off-screen during the events of Solo, with Qi'ra putting her up for adoption with a well-to-do family on Corellia when she was born to save her from growing up the daughter of a crime boss (Kieran is her adopted surname). Regarding legends politicians and the two canon political groups, I did wonder a while back where people would fall on the spectrum; Garm Bel-Iblis, for instance, I'm solidly convinced would be a Populist (albeit one who breaks with the rest of the "party" when it comes to maintaining a strong military*), as would Dariel Anglethorn, while Cal Omas and Viqi Shesh would be Centrists. The one I can't figure out is Fey'lya, since he's simultaneously power-hungry yet a major part of his political image is that he's a supposed advocate for non-Human minorities and he seems to want increased independence at least as far as his homeworld is concerned, so my best guess is he'd openly align with the Populists but when in power act like a Centrist. *in my headcanon Garm in canon served in the Alliance cabinet as Minister of War (I like to imagine he's the one who yells "let her speak!" from offscreen when Jyn's trying to convince the Rebels to attack Scarif in R1) and his break/falling out with Mon Mothma occurred when she decided to demilitarize the Republic after the civil war; he resigned from the post of Minister of War (renamed Minister of Defense after the war ended) and was replaced by Rieekan (who aligned more with Mothma's ideas) but stayed in politics and remained a powerful voice in the senate for many years.
Darth Talon exists in the Legacy era a century after the books. Darth Maul in the PT era up to his final demise in Rebels as well as with multiple clones and experiments after that. We know Lucas intended once or played with the idea of a TFU style Darth Maul game that would have involved Talon. We know Lucas also once intended for the ST to maybe use Darth Talon as a seductor flirting a Solokid to the Dark Side. Now while the usual ways to make this work are 1) Reboot continuity has Talon earlier than in Legends or 2) Maul can return from the dead as a clone or via other sithy means in the Legacy era to have them meet and interact with a Skywalker/Solo descendant, I think I found another alternative! As crazy as it may sound I still have the unlikely hope that this game theoretically could still be made today, despite the reboot, despite drawing from both Legends and canon. It actually would be the bridge between both! Darth Maul does not return in the Legacy era, neither is Darth Talon born earlier than that. Instead, Legends happened as is until Talon after the events of the Legacy comics discovered and learns Flowwalking. Maybe drunk Cade babbled in his sleep about it given his ancestor, Ben Skywalker knew it and vowed to never use it in FOTJ when travelling with Luke to retrace Jacen Solo's steps. Now this Sith Lady has the ability to go to the past and alter it, and yeah she did, upon meeting none other than Darth Maul before TPM. This is where it gets interesting as most happens as always but her presence in the past, while not altering too much just yet, will be responsible for key moments that lead to a different future, the Disney canon timeline. Still though, Maul dies in Rebels and she too does not live to the Legacy era. But she took care that a future for both of them is ensured. Despite changing a lot, she never messed with her own personal timeline that would lead to her birth and prepared stashes, intel and ressources for her future self yet to be born, including DNA samples of her love, Darth Maul. So after the Sith fell, after the ST, in the distant future she will be born and recieve her past selfs gifts to rebirth the Sith with Darth Maul at her side and corrupt the last Skywalker (Rey's descendants?) in that future. Will their peers be able to defeat Talon and Maul? Will they defeat another dark Skywalker? And will they restore the one true timeline in the end realizing that this loop of rebirthing the Sith over and over will never end otherwise? It seems they have to go back to the Island after all, the island of Mortis where empty thrones await those that are worthy to take the test and stay to reshape the universe into a new balance.
Durpin and Plumestriker are the "canon" counterparts to Mils Giel and Malka, expect that every time they failed they got promoted rather then demoted. Their full names are Mils G. Durpin and Malka Plumestriker. Moxie Freemaker's mother is Becky Smoochenbacker. The region of space that Kordi represented in the NR Senate was the Maldrood Sector, and the Freemakers played a major role in liberating the region from the forces of Treuten Teradoc, who like in Legends seceded from the Empire after Endor. Sander Delvardus and Delak Krennel experienced more success than in Legends, managing to establish the Eriadu Authority and the Cruitic Hegemony as viable long-term states, while Blitzer Harrsk remained nominal loyal to the rump Empire following the Galactic Concordance (with Zero Command being recognized as a legitimate sector command within the Imperial Military Hierarchy) but largely did whatever the heck he wanted and essentially operated a state-within-a-state. Zsinj was a major player for a time after the end of the war, but was ultimately defeated by the combined forces of the New Republic, the Empire and the Hapans about a year before The Mandalorian starts. Aside from Voe, Hennix and Tai the dozen other students taken by Luke alongside Kylo included Alora, Pypey, Miko Reglia, Eelysa, Raynar Thul and Tenel Ka Djo. The temple had grown by the time of it's destruction, with new, younger students including Tahiri Veila and Jysella and Valin Horn. Of these Alora, Pypey, Reglia and the Horn siblings were killed in the destruction of the temple, while Tahiri survived off-world (due to her apprenticeship to Corran Horn) but was later corrupted to the Dark Side by Kylo Ren (becoming an - unseen in the films - part of the Knights of Ren under the name "Riina Ren"), Eelysa survived in hiding and attempted to preserve the Jedi teachings, Thul was severely burned in the temple fire and sent into a coma and Tenel Ka, having lost her arm in the explosion of the temple, returned home to the Hapes Consortium (where she became an advocate of an alliance with the Resistance). Earlier, pre-Ben apprentices of Luke included Kyp Durron, who formed a vigilante squadron (independent of the Resistance) to fight the FO, Corran Horn, who "hung up" his lightsaber and withdrew to live aboard the Errant Venture (blaming himself for the loss of both his children and his apprentice), and Kyle Katarn, who took it upon himself to try and hunt Kylo down (as he felt responsible for his actions because he had helped train him in lightsaber combat) - all three eventually traveled to Exegol to answer Lando's call to arms. Valeria became Blue Leader when the squadron was reformed following the Battle of Vrogas Vas, and her predecessor was Merrick Sims. (What was left of) Blue Squadron wasn't present at Yavin because they were with the remains of the Rebel fleet that had gone to Scarif (which fell under Hera's command after Raddus's death and was regrouping with the rest of the Alliance Fleet, commanded by Ackbar, at the Mako-Ta Space Docks), but Red and Gold Squadrons and Massassi base broadcasted fake comm chatter to indicate they were present, tricking the Imperials into thinking the attacking force was larger than it actually was (hence why the novelization for ANH says Luke flew with Blue Squadron). The Battle of Bakura mentioned in Squadrons and and the past experience Venisa Doza mentions having on Bakura* is the battle from Truce At Bakura (which is definitely still considered "valid" as part of my headcanon). *Imanuel Doza was part of the Imperial garrison on Bakura, and defected along with Pter Thanas after the battle. Coruscant remained the Imperial capital for a short time after the end of the galactic civil war, but after the New Republic forced the Empire to hold referendums across it's territory regarding if worlds wanted to remain under Imperial authority it seceded from the Empire and joined the NR (as shown in Bloodlines). The Imperial government subsequently relocated to a resort world deep within it's remaining territory that was favored by the late emperor and had a loyal, if strangely placid, population, which subsequently became known as Imperial Center. Shortly afterwards Mas Amedda and the Imperial Ruling Council, by now thoroughly unpopular and widely-loathed, was removed by a coup which placed authority in the hands of a fractious junta called the "Central Committee of the Interim Ruling Council", with Paltr Carvin representing the army, Lyon Banjeer representing the navy, Ysanne Isard representing (and leading) OIP and Tann Starpyre representing the Diet of Imperial Planetary Governors (a rubber-stamp paper legislature made up of the empire's remaining planetary governors that was formed in response to terms dictated in the Galactic Condicance that required the Empire to form a replacement for the Imperial Senate but held no power because the governors were still ultimately subordinate to the remaining moffs). Admiral Traest Kre'fey, who was busy hunting Grysk raiders in the Dalonbian sector when the Hosnian Cataclysm occurred, formed the "Free Republic Forces" out of remnants of the New Republic Military that, like him, refused to accept the surrender offered by Pwoe, a senior senator who survived the cataclysm and claimed (dubious) authority as the NR's chancellor, to the First Order. The FRF aligned with the Resistance and it's fleet was part of Lando's armada in TROS, and part of their forces was Rogue Squadron, led by Gavin Darklighter, and Phantom Squadron, led by Garik Loran. Meanwhile Wes Janson came out of retirement and formed a volunteer squadron, the Taanab Yellow Aces, to serve with the Resistance following the Battle of Crait.
