As someone who hasn't seen the other two – my vote is firmly in favor of The Sopranos.

And if you liked Breaking Bad and haven't yet seen Better Call Saul, I do highly recommend that as well; somehow BCS has managed to be even better than its parent series.

I watch first season of that, it was very good. I need to go back and watch the rest. I like James Gandolfin, he scared me though in True Romance when he bashed Alabama

I don't say it lightly. BrBa is one of the very best shows to have aired, and I was very nervous about BCS' announcement, worrying that it might taint the legacy of BrBa. I approached it with cold feet when it premiered in 2015.

But yeah, I genuinely find BCS to be an even better show. On BrBa Gilligan and his team of writers and directors and cast kept improving and honing their craft, year after year, and that momentum has just kept ramping up through BCS. BCS has honestly been some of the very best filmmaking and character work I've seen in the past decade, be it on the big or small screen, and it just gets better and better week after week, year after year.

Apparently in Italian Chris and dickie’s surname translates to many saints

So this is definitely a dickie movie

I’m only just getting over yesterday’s mind blown that Silvio Dante wore a wig.

Have you never seen a Springsteen video? :)
I cast my vote for Sopranos as best show ever.

I liked Silvio up until the infamous scene where he
    Kills Adriana

That scarred me for about a month. I liked her character :(

That was a great scene, but shocking.
And that is the genius of the show. Ditto the scene with Tony and you know who in the car crash. You start to like these people and then they do something really shocking.

It always stuck with me the pleading for her life in the Silvio scene. The Sopranos had a lot of intermingling stories all around, but among the most prominent was the notion of the escapades being leaked to the FBI. Sure, deep down it was inevitable that she was going to get found out and wacked because of it; but it was still troubling in that she only did it to protect Christopher, right? I sincerely cried after that episode.

My dad is a huge breaking bad fan. I like Breaking Bad but find it a bit one note. The Soranos has so many interesting characters. My dad does like the Sopranos as well.

Great Chase interview. I really want to see this now. I never knew he grew up in Newark. JG's son looks just like him.

I wish they'd have chosen another song for that trailer. I listen to it while the video is playing and I'm thinking is this going to be like a comedy or a family movie? Just doesn't seem all that appropriate for the Sopranos' genre.

Feels very appropriate to The Sopranos to me. The show always subverted the standard mob cliches/stylistic tendencies when it could – and among many other ways, that was often done musically as well. It played up the changing world around the mobsters more than it did the mobster "genre" tendencies, and when it did lean hard into, say, the stylings of something like The Godfather or Godfellas, it did so with a very critical view that played up the artiface of the mentality of these people. The contrast between style/execution and genre expectations is something I love about The Sopranos.

Makes me think of the more offbeat song selections in the show like, say:

On the surface so far The Many Saints of Newark trailers seem to be showcasing the "mob movie" trappings through and through but knowing Chase, there's going to be an undercurrent of something else at play in contrast to what we're seeing here as well.

Looks good, but I hope Gandolfini Jr. acts better than he does in this trailer. He sounds like Tony, only much dumber. I get that he's a teenager but still... Tony was a lot of things, but he wasn't dumb. I will reserve judgement until I see it. It will be fun seeing all these characters younger. Wonder if Phil is in it. Jonny Sac? Artie and Carmella will probably make appearances.

I just got a kick out of baby Christopher towards the end of the trailer.
