Until he finally stood up and took a few steps in an episode of TCW, we didn't even know if he was mobile.

I say Kcaj as if it rhymes with Asajj, just with a K.

But it's that first consonant combo -- K-kajj? Kajj? K-sajj?

I'm even a little unsure on the "Coleman" bit because it's just way too Earth-y. Is it "Coal-uh-mun" or "Co-leman" maybe?

Kcaj is Jack spelled backwards. The C in Jack is a hard C which, being followed by a K, renders it redundant. It is presumably the same for the inverse.

Talking of Luke, in the context of pronuncation - I remember Cronal taking a bit of a shot at the way Luke pronounces things in Luke Skywalker & The Shadows of Mindor:

Deep in darkness, lingering in the shadow cast by the holoeditor's imaging screen that was the chamber's only light, an old, old man practiced his Luke Skywalker impression.
"Listen to me, Blackhole or Shadowspawn or whoever you are," he murmured, forcing his leathery mouth to shape the rounded vowels and mushy consonants of Skywalker's barbarous Outer Rim accent. "I'm a Jedi, but I never had time for all the training some of the old Jedi were supposed to get... No, no no. Not geht. Almost git - really, barely a vowel at all. G't."
The old, old man sighed. To spend the balance of a human lifetime pretending to be a half-educated rube .. . ultimately, the reward would be worth the sacrifice, of course, and no one would ever know his private humiliation, but still...
Perhaps after a decade or two ruling the reborn Empire, he could allow himself to slowly "pick up" a properly civilized mode of speech, but until then he'd have to keep up the pretense. Perhaps the only thing that could undermine his ultimate victory would be to have these Rebel scum notice that their pet Jedi had suddenly begun talking as if he'd been educated on Coruscant by way of Dromund Kaas.

Iella. I alternate between "eye-ella" and "ee-ella" but never really nailed it down.

Or how about Ysanne? Is it "eye-san" or "ee-san"? Is that "e" at the end silent?

In my head I always said Ysanne like the word "insane" but without the first n. Eh-zayne -- I'm sure it's not actually said like that, though.

I imagine the Y is supposed to be silent, but I always pronouced it "Ya-Zanne".

Rolls off the tongue well anyway.

    Shedao Shai is "She-dao Shai"

Tsavong Lah would be "Tsa-vong Lah"

Darth Nihilus I pronounce "Ni-hi-lus" as opposed to the simpler Ni-lus.

I've always pronounced it ee-saan, but the fact that Isard (eye-sard) sounds so much like "Iceheart" has convinced me that there's a secret pronunciation of her first name which is equally on-the-nose.

    Ee-ella Wess-siri.

    Eye-sane Eye-zard.

Or at least that's how I've always said them.

(It seems everyone has a different take on how to say Isard's name).

Another pronunciation of Shedao Shai might be She-Doh Shai.

Vergere is “Ver Zhere” with the Zh having a /3/ sound.

How about krayt dragon? I always assumed it was pronounced cry-at. The yt together being a "yat". Why else put a Y in it? I think the currently accepted "crate" pronunciation, comes from the ANH radio drama.

    Tyranus. As in Tyrant.

Sidious went to the BBC school of elocution, or else he'd have said it in terms like Groundskeeper Willie :p

Thanks for replying to my 6 year old comment Dandy :p

Though, to be honest the pronunciation of Lord Tyranus is as fluctuating as Han or Leia. I think it's Tie-rahnus from Jango, Ti-rahnus from Palpy, then in TCW the Kaminoans and Obi-Wan tend towards Tie-rannus while the Pykes go with Ti-rannus. It's a madhouse! ;)

I guess Sidious would know best, since he gave Dooku the name in the first place, so Ti-rahnus it is.

Welp, that's my entire life pronouncing Tan-Tive gone up in smoke (like the ship itself).

I'm pretty sure Rogue Planet implies it is pronounced "Sea Coat", if memory serves.
