I’m looking forward to this show, but I think the secrecy around it has hindered the hype somewhat.

Some of the fun with these shows and films is when you get little bits here and there and really chew on them and indulge in speculation. With this show we don’t even know what actors have been cast outside of the two leads and Jennifer Beals.

Because it is - the 'doorway' shot of Boba matches that of Luke entering Tosche Station in the ANH deleted scenes. Remember that Fixer was basically the Manager of the station, he just hasn't moved on.

The rather touching thing is that they have got actors who look like the <deleted scene> originals, Anthony Forrest and Koo Stark.

Why not just use the original actors? Look how much living on Tatooine aged Obi Wan.

As I might have mentioned earlier, I'm doing an extended Boba/Mandalorian rewatch ahead of TBOBF, which I started with AOTC, and I'm now making my way through both the Boba Fett and Mandalorian episodes of TCW. I just finished the episode Bounty, and a thought struck me.

This is highly unlikely of course, but what if TBOBF will see the return of Asajj Ventress?
There was some talk that Filoni originally wanted to have her appear in Resistance (and fight Kylo Ren, I think?), so if that's true, he doesn't seem married to the idea that she's dead. And Boba and Asajj have history -- and are not particularly friendly -- since the Quarzite job in Bounty.

Again, unlikely, but it could happen.

Pablo Hidalgo said: "There was talk about a Ventress-like character, but not literally Ventress. That became Mika Grey. Her name is a sort of rhyming nod to Nika Futterman."
    So most likely not happening.

Though...looking at the Shadow here, Boba has his Tusken outfit complete with gaffe stick - meanwhile, in the doorway scene he has a jumpsuit and no stick. I am thinking they are two different scenes sliced together...which implies Tosche station might be reoccuring...interesting.

Nah, pretty sure it's the collar from his white jumpsuit that makes that shadow, and he does have the Gaffi stick in the doorway shot as well.

I'd like to believe it's Tosche Station, but it could easily be nothing but common Tatooine architecture. One station probably looks an awful lot like another.

Nah, they wouldn't make it so similar if it wasn't tosche station.

And Fixer and Camie being in the same place? There's just too many clues for it not to be.

So, err, is Boba Fett going to hunt some power converters or something?

65 is hardly old by today's standards. There are recent photos of her online. She didn't age badly. She'd probably welcome the opportunity to finally appear in a Star Wars project.

Which guys exactly? Despite the name, crimson dawn soldiers wear black and gold, not red.

Ochi did fight some Crimson Dawn assassins in red, but their outfits and masks were otherwise totally different than these guys. Spoilered for size:

Hard to get a good screenshot for a direct comparison, but the above guys have a much more mechanical mask, which I almost mistook as a reptilian face at a first glance, with a hood instead of the Dengar like face and head wraps that Boba's assailants have. Meanwhile, Boba's foes have a breast plate, which the crimson dawn enforcers and assassins lack. Honestly, the shield guys remind me a lot of a swtor bounty hunter armor set, just red instead of green.

Not saying it is impossible they are Crimson Dawn, but it is far from confirmed that they are. Still a lot of possibilities open here. Even if we stick to crime groups known to wear red, there are the Mining Collective, possibly the Red Key Raiders, the Guavian Death gang...heck, even Black Sun soldiers are sometimes depicted wearing red when they aren't aren't in purple and gold (oddly not black though. Black Sun in Red and Crimson Dawn in Black, what is the galaxy coming to)

Ah, good catch. I totally missed that.

Yeah i was thinking of the second design. Maybe crimson dawn has fallen on hard times and they dont have the fancy outfits anymore?

Those dudes are just Dryden’s bodyguards. Crimson Dawn, as a criminal organization, doesn’t have a uniform. It would be a little dumb for criminals to mark themselves as criminals by wearing a criminal organization uniform.

Definitely a possibility. The framing device for the comic certainly makes it sound like Crimson Dawn is not going to have a good time.

*shrug* Dumb it may be* but there are a lot of panels in the recent comics of CD soldiers in that uniform attacking other syndicates and innocent civilians alike. Star Wars does like its readability - hence why the guys attacking Fett and Fennec, whoever they are, are also in uniform outfits, as were the guys that took over Cobb Vanth's town.

    * Actually even dumber since by the time of the recent comics Crimson Dawn is less a crime syndicate and more a "shadowy conspiracy" group
