Can’t really fault the Plagueis folks, they were desperately hoping for a change in direction and we got…what we got

How did Cad Bane know Cobb Vanth had armor that he gave away?

Just like the Mandalorian had learned of another Mandalorian on Tatooine, Cad Bane, who had a rivalry with Boba, would also likely have heard of someone who had donned the armor and investigated at some point, which is even more likely considering he had probably worked for the Pykes on Tatooine before.

I'm pretty sure Cad Bane's been operating on Tatooine for a while. I'd wager Bane was responsible for the Tusken massacre, and he'd know who was responsible for the local law enforcement. Odds are, he got a picture, and realized Cobb Vanth used to wear Boba Fett's armor.

Cobb was popular for what he accomplished when he had the armor, so it's not hard to see how the news could have gotten to the cowboy.

Maybe Plageuis is actually the one behind the mayor and all of Boba's troubles....

Maybe Keira and Crimson Dawn were an intentional misinformation campaign, and it's actually Plageuis. Maybe Maul shows up again, with Plageuis bringing him back to life.

ViewerAnon says the connection to the sequel trilogy will happen in the finale. Some people believed it was the reveal of Luke’s temple but it’s not.

I mean, that WAS a connection to the ST. So I already doubt what they say.

These are the important questions! Here's another one: Did Cad Bane really walk all that way? Across the Tatooine desert?

The eyes were perfect. The only part that still needs improvement is the mouth movements. Still a tad weightless. Prehensile mouth muscles are very complicated.
I’ll also never not agree with this. And in that context, the tiny toy lightsaber Luke presents to Grogu is one of the only things that felt off to me in the episode. It’s not only about their natural propensity with the force, either. It’s also just that they’re tiny and the lightsaber is tiny. And against a being using a much larger lightsaber (with longer arms) it’s a ridiculously disadvantaged way to fight. And frog on crack pinball is just not fun to watch.

Switching gears, I’m pretty convinced that Grogu will ultimately teach Luke a lesson here by choosing both. The main hint of that was Ahsoka’s curious line:

“Sometimes the student guides the master…”

In what way has Grogu guided Luke thus far? In no way, as far as we can tell. Until…Grogu says why can I not choose both?

    The next Mandalore is Grogu.

The Pykes: "This bald guy living with the Tuskens is making business difficult. We need someone to take care of it."
Bane: "Bald guy?" *takes the job*

I assumed Sidious kept the saber (and possibly Yoda's robe) as trophy after their duel in the Senate chamber. After ROTJ Luke picked it up from Coruscant, where it might have been stored in the Jedi Temple / "Sith victory" temple.

"Too cute to execute", put that on a t-shirt.
Also, never actively realized the word "execute" contains "cute".

This. Yoda igniting his lightsaber for the first time on-screen is still one of the best moments of the Saga and I love his duels with Dooku and Sidious.

Oh I love that scene too. Especially when Yoda tosses Palpatine’s old decrepit ass across the room. :p

Those two scenes are actually the only reason why I re-watch ROTS.

During the infamous last scene, Luke promises BY that he will train him to be a great Jedi. "Great" ? That's a really unusual word when discussing Jedi issues. Isn't it? It looks like he is trying to touch BY's ambitions. Greatness isn't what you want to seek when you follow a path of ascetism. Imagine saying "I'll make you a great monk".
