I can't stop watching it.

 

I'm surprised nobody else is talking about how there are apparently VR headsets in the GFFA.

 

I think those are just goggles. He’s pretending like kids before VR often did.

I think most people think Ewans Obi-Wan is compelling enough.Except for those oldtimer OT cultists of course.

 

Or maybe most people are just fine with both, and see no need to bash one or the other. Why some people feel the need to turn this into the new version of Team Edward vs. Team Jacob is beyond me.

Well that's his career likely doomed. It happened for Anakin in the PT and broom kid in the ST.

Important reminder he is just a kid and kids are usually not good at acting. So with that in mind if I see anyone mention this kid in any negative context outside of him being a good or bad actor just know I will be very upset and will never like you again.

Honestly despite them not appearing in most of their films I haven’t seen or heard anything negative at young Jyn and young Rey, but young Luke will probably get more screen time than both combined. I don’t expect him to appear much, but my point stands if I hear anything negative outside of his acting ability I will be pissed. Also even within the acting department he’s just a kid.

 

It’s actually the thing that made me stop following Star Wars fandom for about ten years.

 

I guess it's about opinions but I thought the abuse Kelly Marie Tran received was far and above anything seen previously. Putting a scale on it probably is wrong, it's all abhorrent and has no place anywhere.

 

Oh don’t get me wrong it was horrible. But at least for her she is an adult. It doesn’t excuse the *******s and dip****s, but she wasn’t a child.

 

I don’t think “Fandom Menace” style toxicity will be a problem in this show, as long as people don’t take the bait. There will always be trolls who want to make trouble, and there will always be very-concerned-people searching for any trouble so they can make it seem like a Big Problem that they know how to solve. Don’t be part of it.
