I for some reason don't think it's gonna be.

 

Something sans jedi would be good. Or a criminal style game where the Jedi are presented like Vader is in Fallen Order; all the player can do is run

 

Probaly not but it should its the best era so far.

I think Hennig being involved is a bigger deal than the actual studio, given her past work.

 

Well that and the fact she gets to come back after what happened with Visceral and project Ratag ...I'm glad Lucasfilm gave her another shot.

And they don't have to worry about EA.

Indeed, but it is very exciting that maybe this time she'll have her chance to make a Star Wars game and complete it.

 

I love an uncharted kind of game with a jedi or rebel story in either of the 70 years of the Skywalker saga.

 

Uncharted where you TK back the goddamn grenades would be fun, but game creators don't always repeat themselves - see Josef Fares.

So we could get something that we didn't know we needed until it turned up.

 

Like i guess, it will likley be in imperial era.

 

Aside from SWTOR and multi-era games like Lego and Battlefront, when was the last game that wasn't Imperial-era?

 

Force Unleashed ll, I think.

 

I'd call pre-Jakku "Imperial-era". I hadn't heard of Tales From Galaxy's Edge, though. It looks like it's a "VR experience", like the Vader's Castle one?

 

Both I think. The original game has a bit about a jedi padawan who meets Yoda. The DLC has another story with that same character now as a knight training her own padawan.

I think it might also be worth mentioning that the temple and artifact from the High Republic era bits also come back in the ST part as the player and some archaeologist/bounty hunter team up against an evil baron and his droid army in a race to them.
