Amph Waiting For Superman: Gunnverse DCU/Elseworlds (New Trailer!)

Short version, he had pretty creative free reign on Man of Steel and BvS. (Although considering how much more I personally like Man of Steel I think he had more guidance than usual, feels more Nolan than Snyder), reaction to BvS was messy, studio got jumpy and picky. Then even more bad things happened.

Anyway in less tragic news, someone stole a Gotham City car in my hometown!!



Are they shooting Pennyworth or Titans now I guess? Anyway I'll be on the lookout for Batman trying to retrieve it.

 

Nolan was more involved in MOS than the other films. Snyder had to convince him to go along with killing Zod.

Didnt the studio start to get jumpy with Batman v Superman and shortened Snyder’s cut. Or had Snyder shorten his own cut. I don’t remember if that was concern over content or because they wanted a shorter running time so they could get in more screening.

But WB hit the jackpot with the longer running time of The Dark Knight. So that shouldn’t have scared them on it’s own.

 

I know the director’s cut (I guess that’s the Ultimate Cut) was Snyder’s intended cut of BvSoJfjr theaters. WB may have given Snyder notes on what to cut which he oversaw.

I’m still surprised we got the Snyder Cut of Justice League. I thought well before Whedon was brought in WB began seriously micromanaging the movie before Snyder could film enough for his movie for it to exist.

Goyer had worked on live action comic projects going back to 1993 and wrote "JSA" for a few years. So that probably helped craft his skills.

 

I'm just waiting for the next full season of HQ to be released on HBO Max. IMO it's the funniest animated series since the first decade of The Simpsons.

 

That seems kinda harsh on Futurama & South Park

But it certainly has been a fun show

Finally got around to watching the suicide squad. Had a blast you can tell Gunn had fun making the movie

Elba fit the movie and team better than will smith did. Harley is always great. And really enjoyed rat catcher and king sharks dynamic

As a wrestling fan it’s awesome to see how far cena has come

 

To be fair to Elba, Bloodsport/Dubois only had one major story in the comics, prior to 2018. Deadshot's been around since the 70's and has had enough material that you can say that.
