So, photo ops are scheduled but autographs are not? Gonna echo @star_wars_is_good on being glad I'm not interested in autos this time around.

Is there any way to request a time change for a photo op or are you stuck?

My ticket for Ewan's autograph already says Group 1. But my autograph for Tem doesn't.

I'm also weirdly flattered that you're using a gif that you'd insult Chris with on me now too lol

No. That should be your time. Group 1 is probably 2:30. They give you the time so you don't have to wait as long. That's why it's nice and bizarre they seem to be taking that system away from autos.

 

Is there a policy for if you get into a panel at the same time as a photo/auto?

 

If you can't change to a different day, then you have to make a decision.

 

Apparently MegaCon is so disorganized today that they are offering people full refunds on autos/photo ops because of the wait times. There must be something about Orlando...

That's disappointing to hear. I usually attend megacon every year and didn't this year because it was so close to celebration. I've always been happy with how things are handled and never had issues with autographs or photos. I hope they can get their stuff in order by next weekend.

I guess the only question is regarding the wait times. Two hours is my limit. Anything beyond that is unacceptable. You cannot be in two places at once. We need to prioritize.

 

Apparently they never capped ticket sales and way over sold. There's a bunch of people on Twitter saying they spent 3-4 hours in traffic, couldn't find a parking spot and went home without ever getting inside.

 

I'm glad I skipped it this year. They did have some good guests but celebration always takes priority.

Autograph times are up. It also looks like they stopped all sales.

It's funny under info how they mention you need to have your autograph tickets printed out, but yet they've also got the option to change your time or group on your phone and have them scan that.

 

I always print my tickets just because the connection in convention centers isn't always reliable.

 

Yeah, that's what I did in Chicago as well because I wasn't sure the website would work too. I already had anxiety about the autographing area in Chicago anyway after Orlando. I have it a little bit this time, even though I trust Official Pix.

I guess we'll see how it goes.

 

Well they really stacked my autos and photo on Friday. Luckily there’s not too much panel wise I care about on Friday. But I’m a little concerned on autos.
Originally they had me for Carl Weathers at 11:30am and then photo op with Ewan at 12. Yeah right haha. So I pushed Carl back to 6:30 cause that was only non conflicting time. But then I got Ewan auto at 4:50 and Tem at 5pm. I was about to push auto w Tem to 5:50 but I think I just line up the earliest I can for Ewan, hope I get to Tem shortly after 5 and then nothing until Carl at 6:30. Worst case I can hit Carl on Saturday but it’s a priority for Ewan and Tem on Friday and they’re back to back.
I think it’s a good sign they have such specific time slots and there’s a lot of them split up. So I’m hoping they run a tight ship. Topps did a great job on time slots in Chicago but no one as big as Ewan was there.
