I THOUGHT they were going to try to take the transport (I didn't notice if there was enough clearance to just drive AROUND), but I get your point!

Clearly Obi-Wan needs some lessons from the Mandalorian-

It was never a question of them forgetting it was more if the show runners had the audacity to ask if for the betterment of this particular show, which would be seen by far more people than Rebels, if they could change canon and that they might have received reluctant approval.

When Vader cut Reva off when she was saying "the Grand Inquisitor is [BLANK]" that proved to me that they're purposely being coy and even if it's not addressed in this series, GI is definitely still alive.

The show is making it clear Grand Inquisitor is a title, not a name.

Why would anyone feel the need to clarify that? It's blindingly obvious.

Am I the only one who loved the scene at Vader’s fortress? It didn’t look cheap to me.

Yes, this is what I was thinking. Vader wants to know who is helping Kenobi, so he wants to let him escape so he can track the rebels/traitors.

We all know tracking rebels is Vader's MO.

It looked a little off to me, but it's still one of my favorite scenes. I especially liked the way Vader suddenly rose from his throne to gaze at Mustafar out of the window.

Of course it is, I don't think anyone has questioned that. What has made people scratch their heads is that the same Grand Inquisitor shows up in Rebels five years later, very much alive.

I wonder if people like the Ersos and the Bridgers are part of this witness protection program / spiriting away thingy. Not only were they wary of the Empire but they both happened to have secret hidey holes.

Great breakdown especially on Reva. Reva is probably going to see a lot of herself in young Leia. A child that is stolen by the empire. I think its going to make her reconsider her actons.

I don't really understand the whole tunnel thing , where does it go? And why is this a place that needs a tunnel for spiriting away jedi? It's a mining town right?

The standout scene for me has to be the conversation between Leia and Obi-Wan regarding their shared history of adoption. It was genius to link the two characters in a such an obvious yet unremarked upon way, letting the story naturally reflect on both Obi-Wan's distant origins and Leia's desire to know more about her parents. Hearing those tiny glimpses of Obi-Wan's childhood was amazing, a perfectly managed drawing back of the curtain, revealing just enough to hint at more without robbing his history of all intrigue. Fantastic stuff.

Probably was an old mine that wasn't producing anymore and so they turned it into passages to sneak around the town after the Empire took over

Enjoyable episode but I think the previous two were maybe a tad better. Like the reveal that Quinlan is alive, but I can't help thinking they should have had him show up and fight Vader, only to die but allowing Kenobi and Leia to escape. Like (I think it was) @Darth Buzz says, the way the show is treating barricades is laughable. Vader could have easily gotten rid of the fire and gone after Kenobi. Perhaps he is thinking of the bigger picture and trying to discover the Rebel underground system but I don't think he really thinks like that, he seemed very much solely focused on torturing/ killing Kenobi.

Why did Vader let Obi-Wan get away? Fire? He could have jumped over it. He could have used the force to "moses" it. Don't you dare tell me he is scared of fire.
