Is that different from Dune part 2?

 

Yep. The Sisterhood is the upcoming series for HBO Max. Not sure what its specific placement in the timeline is, since it isn't directly adapting any of the existing novels, but it is set to primarily focus on the Bene Gesserit. Chernobyl's Johan Renck is directing the first two episodes of the series.

I wasn't expecting this character to even appear in the adaptation, so hearing that she will be in it is incredibly exciting, and I really love Léa Seydoux.

I guess this also means we'll be seeing Count Fenring. Wonder who they're going to get to play him?

Hope he goes a bit farther than in the first Dune movie, I was not impressed by his work for that one.

Which was a surprise since Zimmer have done lots of soundtracks that I like.

 

Do hope that those photos are not showing what are going to be the Emperor's palace.

Christopher Walken is the emperor????

 

The emperor in David Lynch’s Dune played by Jose Ferrer and is in Lawrence of Arabia which Dune seems to take inspiration from.

Wondering if their is any connection with roles Walken has had compared to Ferrer.

I still want to know who's playing Count Fenring. I would imagine that he has to be in it, since we know that Léa Seydoux is playing Lady Fenring.

 

They're adding him in now too? Is this going to be 2 or 3 movies now? Cause to include everything about him properly feels like a 3rd movie. That or it's a cameo like the series which was....
