At the moment I'm watching The English, a western with Emily Blunt.
Very good, wonderful scenery and top acting as should be expected.

Also Tokyo Vice, a show set in 90s Japan starring Ansel Elgort & Ken Watanabe.

Looking forward to the finale of His Dark Materials and hoping for more Line of Duty to return

I like British crime shows. Prime Suspect, Cracker. Lately I've been watching Inspector Lewis.

Any other Britbox subscribers here? I'm not an original subscriber, but I'm close. I signed up as soon as I first heard about it, which wasn't long after it became available in 2017.

I'm old school. My library has a lot of TV series, and whenever I see something at Goodwill that is British I usually get it. I picked up a season of Vera, which looks good. And of course I own Fawlty Towers.

We watched the first few episodes, and yes, it's very good, but the exterior cinematography is driving us up the wall - particularly when the Sun completely (and very obviously) changes direction 3 or 4 times within a single scene, that just takes you right out of the moment.

On a very different topic, though, yesterday we saw an ad for the (completely unexpected) Detectorists special that will air on Boxing Day!!! :D:D:D[face_love][face_love][face_love]

Just found this on YouTube. A couple of details surprised me, particularly re: the imminent Region 1 Blu-Ray release:
