I think the real issue is that I didn't really care enough about his character to pay attention to any developments going on with it. But that goes really across the board, including Willow himself, to a degree.
He elaborates (albeit still relatively briefly) about what happened to Kaya and Ranon; which he may have spoken about in an earlier episode but again, I just don't remember.

To my recollection, he hasn't spoken about them since this episode. The audience knows who he is talking about, if you've seen the movies. If this is truly the first time he's mentioned them, Elora should have said, "Who?"

I'm assuming her red hair is supposed to symbolize that she's leaving her disguised muffin girl past behind and turning back into the true Elora Danon, savior of the universe.

Yea but you would think it would draw a comment about it. Last week it looked weird af and her companions don’t say a single thing.

It was mentioned in an early episode that she's been dyeing her hair; since she's not doing that while on the road, her hair is regaining its original color. Obviously symbolism and all that, but in-universe there's really no reason for any of the characters to mention it.

I have no interest in watching the show but trying to rehabilitate franchise brands that were never good or successful to begin with feels like a studio’s desperate endgame: “we need content, and we don’t care where it comes from.” I can’t wait for Disney’s “Black Hole” series

Normally I'd agree with you, but in the case of Willow, I feel like people have been asking for more content for years and it finally came true. Unfortunately, fans should have been asking for good content instead of any content. With the myriad of Marvel spin off shows, I feel like they didn't have to green light Willow so I was optimistic.

Moving forward, Disney is definitely going to try and "rehabilitate" other old franchises to be sure. They tried with Tron and where did that go?

Come on Disney, let's do Rollerbabies. Future apocalyptic rollerblading teens fighting evil.

I need to catch up on Willow. Stopped after Ep3. My expectations are checked.

If it weren’t for the godawful pop music I’d consider this episode a step up.

a few franchise Disney+ series ideas just begging for slots on the production calendar. It is never too late to make bad Disney+ series content out of the terrible Disney live action films of my childhood.

That Darn Cat! - the series
    Blackbeard's Ghost - the series
Herbie the Love Bug - the series
    The Million Dollar Duck series
Escape from Witch Mountain - is this ever begging for a rereboot

Someone is already redoing the last starfighter right? So that's coming probably...

I'm surprised someone hasn't pinched the Neverending Story yet.

Seth Rogan wants to do a continuation (because he genuinely loves it), but Beutel is notoriously protective. Gary Whitta is working on something with him now(ish).

Also, a reminder: one of the slappingest scores of the 1980s cult movies...

I think starfighters could have major potential. But who knows.

And so not surprised about that article about Neverending Story lol.

I think we're ready for "Flight of the Navigator" TV series staring Paul Reubens as the voice of the ship. Sarah Jessica Parker could make a guest star appearance and maybe even Twisted Sister. Joey Cramer, the actor who played the lead in the original seems to still be in the bizz according to IMDb so bring him back too.

IMHO they fumbled badly with this series.
The story was told in confusing, slow at parts and in the end i got the impression there were more filling time than developing something foeward. Graydon is somewhat of a good example. Is he good, trustworthy? Or how that Elora vision implied, a hidden villain ? And what are his true feelings towards her?
But main problem i had was Airk. They made him disappear for what , 6 episodes? And Then when he showed up he looked another character and just added far more questions that won't be solved in 1 episode.

I thought i was the only one who noticed this too :p:p:p
PS: you people know there's a National Treasure series going on Disney+, right ?

I've seen advertisements for the National Treasure series but they did nothing for me. Are they any good? @nilzo antonio

Gotta love Robert Preston's voice. I always wanted him to say, "The Starfighters are in trouble, trouble with a capital T!"

I mean, they cast him basically to play Intergalactic Harold Hill (intentionally) so I mean, he sort of did... :p

This latest episode was... by far... far... the most enjoyable and closest in spirit to the film but that doesn't necessarily mean it saved much of anything. Even this episode perfectly encapsulated the entire season in this: this is the penultimate chapter in a supposed epic quest and they still had us watch (not 1. Not 2.) 3 different "eating a meal" scenes.

That might have been it, though I'm not sure. And like you, I can't be bothered checking.

I've waited 30 years for a sequel to Willow (one of my favorite movies), but this show... it just isn't working for me. There's a lot to like -- the basic story is actually kind of great -- but the dialog, the characters, the world-building, the god-awful music... Yikes.
