Amph All-Encompassing Anime/Manga Thread

So I'm watching the English dub of Danganronpa. I initially watched it all on a 24 hour shift, but now that I have free time (again) I'll rewatch it to make more sense out of it. I would play the games it's based on to make more sense, but would have to get steam cards to buy it which I can't do at the moment so I have to wait on that. It's kids stuck in a school trapped, and the only way out is to kill someone and get away with it. So a murder mystery and discover who is behind it all.

Sees Trigun..

 

Trigun is my favorite anime of all time. Geneshaft a close second.

 

Cowboy Bebop is king.
Trigun is 2nd.

Then it starts breaking up into categories:
Best Mecha Anime
Best Slice of Life Anime
Etc.

 

Cowboy is great. What did you think of live action adapt? Many did not like it.

 

Only seen a little so far...posted my thoughts here.

 

It grew on me in mid to later episodes.

 

Yeah, I saw a couple more a few months ago...it got a little funnier.

Still not in a hurry, but I will get through it.

 

So @Kato Sai , you say you like Trigun.

What was your opinion on the movie?

 

Loved it, though it may feel like a long episode and not one covering something big like Knives rehabilitation. But to include Wolfwood they had to go back in the timeline.

 

Watched Trigun Stampede (2023) episodes 1-5. I have no issue with Orange’s animation, but that the message of redemption the story is suppose to convey has been altered to be an opposite message. The creator of Trigun intended Christian/ Catholic messages and overtones which ars lost in this series and even subverted with negative symbolism towards those messages. Sigh. As a huge Trigun fan, I am disappointed.
