Apparently Michael Bidwill watch "Moneyball" and saw the A's needing to pay for their own soda and went "that is a good idea!"

Franchise worth over $3 billion cannot pay for some food and then serves lousy meals on top of it. I know it's during the offseason but that is ridiculous.

And @anakinfansince1983 sorry but looks you will be apart the mindless speculation for a bit!

I generally assume most teams have called the Packers to inquire about Aaron Rodgers.

Give me anyone other than Aaron Rodgers. Tannehill, Malik, Dobbs… hell I’d even take Will Levis over him.

I can think of ten teams that would make sense to check on Rodgers.

Atlanta, Carolina, Dallas (McCarthy), Saints, Giants, Jets, Raiders, Tampa, Tennessee (lol sorry Chiz), and Washington.

Maybe add Miami to that list if Tua isn't recovering well. Maybe New England, though I doubt they'd want another old man.

Even then, it makes sense for Atlanta, Carolina, and Dallas to not have a lot of interest. Atlanta and Carolina are in the top ten of the draft, and Dallas has Dak. Atlanta has a ton of work to do on defense and isn't ready for that sort of move. They'd just be putting themselves in the soon-to-be-retiring-quarterback phase they just got out of.

Raiders are in the top ten of the draft and the Giants have Jones. The only reason I added Giants late was because of difficult negotiations.

I could really narrow it down to Saints, Jets, Tampa, Tennessee, and Washington. Raiders if they want the Rodgers-Adams connection. Everyone else has options. Even Tennessee has Tannehill and Washington supposedly wants to take a look at Sam Howell.

Were Rodgers and McCarthy known to have a good working relationship?

Not at all, but they did win a ring together, Rodgers is mercurial, and most importantly, I think Jerry would be interested in an upgrade over Dak, especially after Dak's recent playoff performances. Jerry strikes me as the type to chase stars. They might agree to get the band back together. It's a long shot, but I was trying to be thorough.

Oh, absolutely. And, in a way, it would be fitting, as the Super Rodgers and McCarthy won was played in Cowboys Stadium.

I’m sure there’s some horrible Division 1 facilities and logistics… but I’m flashing back to videos showing off spa-like locker rooms to entice recruits right now.

And yeah, the idea of billionaires having +$220 investment in their rosters, but having ratty, out of date facilities is the epitome of “cheap-skates-gonn-cheap-skate.”

In some cases, the problem is just an old, outdated, decrepit stadium that isn't worth updating. Better to just build a new one. I understand poor facilities in those cases.

Food is the most egregious thing to skimp on, as it's a daily necessity (meaning all 60 guys will notice how crappy it is every single day) that keeps players strong. Food and sleep are the basics of recovery. I can see why owners would cut it, it's easy to imagine elite catering costing more than the entire training staff combined, but it's the dumbest thing to skimp on. You're making your athletes weaker every day, even when they're healthy. A number of players have cited it as the sign that made them realize the owner was too cheap to compete and they needed to leave. Warren Sapp put it best: he's 300 pounds, he just emptied the tank for three hours for you, and all you have for him are some cold cuts? Nah. If you can't afford to provide top notch nutrition to fuel your athletes, sell the team.

I'm not surprised to see the Lions near the bottom in food. I've heard it's been that way since the Fords took over. It's typical of the worst franchise in the NFL in the Super Bowl era.

While I certainly see it annoying players, at least a crappy locker room doesn't directly affect physical performance. The same can be said of treating families poorly, but that's just a great way to watch players leave in free agency.

There was a time when I wouldn’t have been surprised to see the Vikings near the bottom of the list. But Zigi has actually done a really good job improving the facilities, everything is state of the art now, and that’s reflected in the rankings.

So the Bears are having prospects play ping pong, darts, mini golf etc to test their "competitiveness". Absolute stupidity in determining anything as honestly I am wondering if there is still hope for me since I am a pretty good ping pong and mini golf player. Haven't played competitive football since November 1995 but still you never know! I guess perhaps the prospects think the Bears are cool since part of their interview process is playing ping pong and mini golf. Do prospects a plus if they bring their own paddle, darts, putter?? So strange.

On a better front for the Bears, Young has looked really good so far therefore his stock is rising and so to it could be the price of the #1 pick.

In fairness to the Chiefs' low rating, a lot of it is down to the fact that Arrowhead is 50 years old and you just can't expand the locker rooms any more. I've been in them.

However, the really surprising one for the Chiefs is that players hate Rick Burkholder, the head of our medical staff who is widely regarded as the best in the business (and it has shown on the field with fast recovery times for players).

I believe I read somewhere that the feeling from the rank and file is that Burkholder is attentive and active for the stars, but dismissive to the rest of the roster. I could be wrong, but that would certainly hurt the aggregate by quite a lot. If you know he's the best of the business, but he also fails his responsibilities to the larger group, that's a problem that should be easily solved.

With the way Mahomes handled his high ankle sprain, if you told me that Burkholder was secretly a Jedi healer, I'd believe it. :p

Apparently Mahomes didn't get any shots or medication per his own comments on it... Definitely some Mr. Miyagi ****.

Or Mahomes is just tough as nails.

If we're not keeping Henekie, then he'd be an upgrade on what we've got now.

HOW does a dysfunctional mess like the Commanders think they can sign a player like Lamar at the salary he will require, and believe they can build a competitive team around him?

That defense is going to want to be paid. They better pray the rookies can all start.

Snyder must be hoping Lamar playing "hero-ball" will be enough.

    Even Baltimore wasn't that naive.

And I don't see Ron Rivera and Lamar Jackson working out either.

Wonder if Bieniemy had him on a wish list when they signed him up.

Lock Jackson up for a long time so we don't have to see or hear from him for the rest of Patrick's career.

Yeah the police said they are pursuing charges. Even though the restaurant owner didn't want to at first. But she seems to come around, and I hope she continues. What Jackson did was assault and he deserves to finally have some consequences for his selfish actions. He was 17 when Mahomes started playing, and back then I had some grace for him as a kid. Not anymore.
