Can anyone guess the real world meaning of the name Dak?

Okay, I cheated and googled it...

Looks like there's a bunch of similar names of African origin, and they seem to mean "happiness".

 

That isn't actually what it our meaning is.

 

Is it star wars related?

 

Not at all. Its just that whenever we watch the Empire Strikes Back and anyone says Dak's name we all can't help laughing, which kind of ruins his death.
