Allegedly they have a vertical slice which I think is more than BG&E2 and… …. **** me what was the name of that pirate game anyway? ever had, so I think that’s grounds for cautious optimism that it will at least come out.

More than likely this is positioned on the AC spot next year, as Mirage hits October.

By comparison, Skull & Bones is a years too late, dead on arrival game that UbiSoft are only sticking with because they're contractually obliged to. BG&E2 is in development hell.

It will totally have microtransactions, but they should be all cosmetics you can comfortably ignore..that's how the AC games have been..tons of cosmetics I never even look at..I just play the single player game and enjoy what's included.

A new SW game featuring a FEMALE lead? Count me in!

Just show some actual gameplay and I may include it among my pre-orders for 2024 along with FFVII:Rebirth.

Tomorrow's gameplay footage will be very important to see, but I'm fairly relieved and excited about a non-Jedi protagonist.

Can't waiting for the flaming landspeeder skin.

Also I love how people are already making videos like “the game of our dreams” like my guy you haven’t seen anything from the game. Hell we don’t even know anything about it’s story

I’m hoping that there’s an element of space combat here. I’d like to see the character’s ship used for something more that teleporting her from planet to planet. I’ll find out tomorrow.

You know full well that at the end, the sequel hook will show her demonstrating telekinesis or similar

I fully expect the force to appear somehow. When was the last time a force sensitive didn’t appear in a Star Wars game? Squadrons, but even then Vader appears in the opening narration

I don’t mind a force-sensitive supporting character showing up, but I’ll be pretty disappointed if the protagonist is a force-sensitive.

It would be cool to have some familiar character cameos showing up throughout this game; I'm not sure at what point it transpires in the timeline, but that alone could determine how much of the Force influence would be out there.

    Prepare Yourselves...

Anyone else notice the dude in Kyle Katarn's clothes? They both shop at the same scoundrel-mart?

Anyone else get a "This is a Rogue One game that got tweeked ever so slightly?"

Just getting a Jyn Erso vibe off the protagonist there.

Tbh, I was actually getting more of a Dr. Aphra vibe from her. If a Dr. Aphra game would ever come out, I'd get the blank check prepared.

So they made an Aphra/Erso hybrid?

Did an AI build this game for Ubi?

Does anyone else think some of the locations shown in the trailer look a lot like Batuu? That would be super cool if it is in the game!

Hey if she turns out to be a force user, I won't be complaining. I actually never really understand why people complain (not saying that is happening in this thread) about having force users as the main characters in Star Wars.

Heh, I just finished Jedi: Survivor and saw this news while the ending credits were playing. Count me in. Star Wars is (hopefully) having a new golden age, video games wise. Survivor was really great btw. A huge improvement over the original in basically every way. I want a third game now pls.

    1) It kind of shrinks the world building, when what was once considered a rare and unique power is available with every avatar in every game.

    2) Usually if the force powers are included in the game, it is because the game design expects you to use them. And since the force "powers" in games are well established, so are the types of obstacles you will face when having to use them. It can get old and repetitive.

    3) Perhaps key for this game: The inclusion of the force usually leads to a morality tale in the game plot. Sometimes with the choice: Light or Dark side. If you include the force, it can make it really difficult to play it grey, particularly if the game incentivizes going uber good or wicked dark.

Sometimes, you just want to be a lovable scoundrel.
