Rumor is that a different Sony studio has been working on a Cassie Uncharted game. I'd be all for that.

Mass Effect is amazing. It’s my least favourite of the original trilogy, but replaying it in the Legendary Edition was a blast.

Arkham City’s a fun game, but I’d argue the weakest between Asylum, City and Knight. Going around Gotham as Batman will never get old though.

Uncharted 2 is a modern day classic. Improved on the first game in almost every way. It’s just let down by it’s final area and a frankly abysmal final boss. It’s between 2 and 3 for the best in the series though.

I kind of regret not putting more comments when I submitted my list, but this is why Mass Effect is the only of the trilogy to make my list. That and the exploration element.

I also find, especially with Bioware games, that I invariably prefer the first in a series. There were no Bioware sequels in my top 20.

    Amazing.

Somehow I missed that Arkham City was on here! I think Asylum edges it out a little bit they're both amazing.

I've said it before after completing the last game; if there's a new Uncharted game with Cassie as the lead, that's a pre-order for me.

It's said that a person's favorite Fromsoft game is whichever one they managed to complete first, and that was certainly true for me. Takes the tried and true SoulsBorne formula, adds a number of QOL improvements, and throws the result into a gorgeously rendered open world. Also, I find the solitude it evokes to be oddly peaceful.

"Graceless Tarnished. What is thy business with these thrones? Ahh... Godrick the Golden. The twin prodigies, Miquella and Malenia. General Radahn. Praetor Rykard. Lunar Princess Ranni. Wilful traitors, all. Thy kind are all of a piece. Pillagers. Emboldened by the flame of ambition. Have it writ upon thy meagre grave: Felled by King Morgott! Last of all kings."
    -Adam of Nuchtern

I’ve never been much of a FromSoft guy (with the exception of one game later on in this list and the videos of RKG/Prepare to Try), so Elden Ring didn’t appeal much at first. It wasn’t until the reviews started to roll in and I watched a few videos on it that I thought I’d risk it. What followed was a perfection of the open world genre and the culmination of the Soulsbourne formula. In spite of it’s scale I think this might be the most approachable of those types of games. Of course there’s difficulty spikes, but the open world nature means you don’t have to get stuck on a boss and keep doing the same area over and over again to try and level up. You can go and do something new, see a different part of the map and discover more secrets before going back with more levels and better gear to try again. -Mustafar_66

I've spent way more time on this game than literally anything else. I have more than a year's worth of actual time logged. I was, for a brief time, in the top-1% of all WoW players. There's a reason no other MMORPG had the longevity WoW did. -dp4m

Given the number of hours I lost to it, feels weird to not include it. -AmazingB

What it lacks in engaging gameplay it more than makes up for with one of the best developed fantasy cultures in all of fiction, with a nuanced story and setting that lives in the imagination long after the game ends. Mods continue to invigorate the game even 20 years later. -darkspine10

Galactic Battlegrounds was a Star Wars game my parents could afford to get me. I lost a lot of hours to it and the Clone Campaigns expansion.

Not played any of them but Elden ring is on the "to play" list subject to it being free and magically having an easy mode added.

Ha right. I'd play it if there were an easy mode but the incels won't allow it.

Yeah the "git gud" crowd need to disappear and fornicate with themselves. I'm into my later 40's and don't have the time for that crap but more importantly... GAMES AE MEANT TO BE FUN AND SHOULD BE COMPLETED. if you need an easy mode to complete a process that has cost in excess of £any pound/dollars/pence etc... then the game should adapt to your playstyle. Inept/expert, who cares, have you had fun and did you finish and get the story behind the games that cost you money??? yes... then you completed the game.

Galactic Battlegrounds - The only game of these five I've played. It's... fine? I mean, it has yet another Battle of Hoth level in a SW video game. The Clone Campaigns are pretty fun, though.

Haven't played Elden Ring but want to try it, I think I have Galactic Battlegrounds as part of a bundle but never played it, not into Kojima's writing, and I despise MMOs. I tried Morrowind like a decade ago after playing Skyrim, but I couldn't get the mods to work right.

Yeah, I was a latecomer to Elder Scrolls, and while I did backtrack to Oblivion, Morrowind just felt too far backwards for me to enjoy.

I tried Elden Ring last year, realized I wasn’t in the right headspace for it, and put it away for a time when I would be. That time hasn’t come yet, but I’m excited for when it does. I have a feeling I could fall in love with it. Its spot on my current rankings is definitely subject to change.

My first Elder Scrolls was actually Oblivion on the XBox 360. I hadn't played anything like it before, so I was engrossed just wandering around Cyrodil. For all the memes about the ugly character design, it's still a pretty enjoyable and unique game. I stumbled across Kvatch and advanced the main quest by accident.

Oblivion was my only ES game outside of ESO. I liked it but never got through the main quest.

I loved Galactic Battlegrounds. "But it was just an Age of Empires 2 mod!" Well, yeah, that's why I liked it.
