Was confused for momment. But yeah good, see books getting more important. With book characters appearing.

 

This is why we need an High Republic Animated show in the vein of Clone Wars and Rebels. That way this can stay a show for the Kiddies while as they get older they can transition to the other one. I would love to see an adaptation of the novels as 4-5 episode arcs.

 

High Republic, high animation show

 

Actually I think if they were going to do an a serious animation High Republic show that would last for several seasons it would be best for it to take place after the novels. There will still be almost a hundred year gap between the end of the High Republic publishing initiative and the Acolyte show.

Lots of time for an animated series to tell their own stories

 

Have a show about Galadriel/Avar Kriss as an older High Council member and she has a young padawan with her.

 

That's definitely possible. Though there is a chance the books might place her elsewhere by the end of the series. But if her character is available to tell more stories with than most definitely.

 

Love the crossover. Now let’s get a Chef Gormaanda cameo stat.

 

I'm guessing there are no plans to continue this show after the end of Phase I point in the timeline. Seems a little dark for a show like this to say that the place these kids just went to in a recent episode was destroyed and now they are all being taken back to Coruscant because of it.

Which is why I think it would have been better to place this show around 300BBY. That way nothing would really interfere with telling the types of stories they wanted to tell and if they wanted to they could let these kids grow up during the course of the series.

 

I think we will get a follow up show thats more like Clone Wars and be an Anthology. Show the Nihil in animation and see the state of the Galaxy for the tv audience.

 

I just hope they won't "Kiddify" Maru, Bell and Loden.

I genuinely curious what you mean by that in this situation. Like, what would that look like, and what would avoiding that look like?

It was not like they were particularly dark or violent characters by nature, they just dealt with dark and violent circumstances, which isn't happening here. And heck, adults do tend to act more kiddy around kids, at least in my experience.
