Two movies year or this is 5-8 years away.

 

Glover has Mr and Mrs Smith and Community movie on the docket so no way he'll be shooting this until after 2024, probably 2025 if lucky

 

This is years off.

 

Nah this is 2028 at the earliest I bet. They don’t have room for anything beforehand

 

Whats First this, Taika's or Rian's?

 

Well let’s look at what we currently have:

Xmas 2025: Avatar 3
May 4th 2026 - Avengers 5
Memorial Day 2026 - Rey 4
Xmas 2026 - Thrawn movie
May 4th 2027 - Avengers 6
Xmas 2027 - Jedi origins
Xmas 2029 - Avatar 4
Xmas 2031 - Avatar 5

They could squeeze Lando into Memorial Day 2027, if they want. But there’s also Taika’s movie to think about. I think Rian is out of the question now. He’ll get a show, if he’s lucky.

I imagine marvel might take another hiatus after Avengers 6, so Star Wars could also take up July and Thanksgiving slots, after that.

 

Taika's last two movies massively underperformed, while Rian's last two movies were huge hits. Don't count Rian out just yet.

Back on topic though, I just watched the trailer to the Mr. and Mrs. Smith reboot with Donald Glover (and Maya Erskine from OWK). Looks better than the Pitt/Jolie movie for sure. Glover has real charisma in everything he's in and I can't wait for him to be Lando again.

 

Okay I think this deserves to go here, but Bespin Bulletin are reporting that Mando is being turned into a movie.

for some reason the link isn’t working. But this works with what some other reliable leakers have said in the past. Mando will be the next movie to release. Followed allegedly by the Ahsoka/Thrawn movie followed by the Rey movie

 

Im still doubtful of Mandalorian being turned into a movie.

 

Mandalorian, Grogu and Digital Luke is Star Wars most marketable aspects of Star Wars since Disney purchased LGL. Going with anything else first in return to big screen would be bad for business.

 

Maybe so, but Jon Faveru already written Script for a season 4 and he him rewrite it to fit a movie. It just seems like rush job if its supposed to come out before Rey's Movie that probably will also have plenty of nostalgia like Luke.
