Easy Mandalorian and Grogu will feature the Birth of Rey Skywalker...

 

The trades work with the studios. They’re not like "gossip" sites. I really don't think Disney nor Lucasfilm would have given Variety the go-ahead to publish the interview if the film was dead.

 

Production weekly have this listed to be filming in May.

 

Regardless of the pros and cons… this film will be going into production I’m sure.

 

What are the cons? Nobody knows anything about it except that Rey is in it.

 

Baggage pretty much. Narrative package. But a good writer can dodge as much. I think that's kinda what Lindelof was trying to do by pushing forward in the timeline but then no Daisy. I get why KK went Daisy route.

 

Though I really liked the idea of Jedi Master Helen Mirren.

 

They might do but with another actress, while still doing Daisy Ridley's Rey Skywalker. But First do the return of the ST cast. Like 80 year old Rey with a big new Jedi Order. Like 100 Jedi around. Trained by Rey, Finn and all their Apprentices. But it probably wont happen for long time, maybe 10 years.

I don't see the point in doing a large time jump. i suspect 15 years is the time jump they are going for and thats that.

I think people tend to expect the franchise moving forward will sit on the shoulders of the ST cast. My believe is that Star Wars won't sit on anyone's shoulders. its just going to be a constant expanding franchise.

 

That would be for the best. Let it flow.

 

The ST cast is just one of the many waves in the ocean of Star Wars Franchise future.

I think people mistake delayed indefinitely and cancelled. All delayed indefinitely means is delayed it could mean delayed a couple of months or a few months or close to a year my guess if there just tweaking the script it's a couple to a few months delayed...

 

Spoiler alert: they all say you should hate it and boycott it, then continue to watch the next 25 videos they make about it anyway.

 

That’s a fairly substantial con IMO… however, that’s not what I was really alluding to… but rather there’s always going to be relative pros and cons with any direction a Star Wars film goes in… and regardless of what they may be, that DLF seem invested in making a post ST film set in the aftermath of the ST.

 

I wouldn't say they work with the studios that would be a conflict of interest that goes against Freedom of the Press which is in The US Constitution they have the right to write what they want to write even if it's negative but the Trade Papers and Entertainment magazines get all inclusive rights to interviews with the different studios movie crews.
