His outfit definitely reminds me of Ren’s with exposed arms. I still wonder if a faction will just be inspired by him that becomes the Knights of Ren somehow.

Wow, they actually did it. I've been saying we need to see this story as a whole before we can judge it, but when it came to the Sith remaining a secret, part of me doubted my own words. Surely they wouldn't kill every Jedi on Khofar. Not Yord, and certainly not Jecki. Well.... [face_tee_hee]

This might have been my favourite episode so far. It favoured action over story, but it did the action very well. And there was some good character stuff as well. Lee Jung-jae was at his best here, especially when he came close to killing Qimir. Sol and Qimir were already new favourites of mine and this episode cemented it further. Good stuff.

Of course she did great with dual wielding.

Give the daughter of Wolverine a chance to use two hands, and you’ll regret it.:D
It’s the only precedent the franchise has - not necessarily the name they’ll use, mind you, but it’d be pretty hard to believe that someone on writing staff independently came up with a lightsaber-shorting-out metal that is still somewhat fragile compared to other material, forged into the shape of both a bestial helmet (like the Jensaari from I, Jedi) and a little vambrace (like the Imperial Knights from Star Wars: Legacy.)

The particular way they portrayed it feels exactly like how you would “show, don’t tell” an audience about the classic version of it from Legends - even how Jecki breaks part of it with a kinetic strike feels like specifically illustrating one of its trade offs as armor.

Sol just conveniently MIA while all the Jedi die in the beginning. Like what? Please let there be an explanation for this. And Jekki taking a nap lol?

I'm not following the logic here. Why can't Sol refer to Mae as Osha's sister?

The fact that there is an apparent connection between Darth Nameless (DN) and Sol, Sol somehow has affected him negatively and has a dark secret, and DN's comment about Sol reading thoughts and in turn Yord's comment about DN being in his head (similar ability) makes me think Sol might be his father. The reverse Luke I am your father. Could be totally off-base but a possibility I think.

The fighting was A+ but I agree with the confusion of Sol disappearing for so long at the beginning. How far back did he get flung?

Regarding the "reveal" of the Sith - I don't think anyone is particularly surprised. Regardless, he made a really cool Sith.

Now regarding all the deaths ... not sure how I feel about that. How many episodes were planned for this season? Are we nearing the end? I wish we had, had more time with some of these characters.

Sol doesn’t know it’s not her yet. If he did they would have filmed it differently as he walked onto the ship to symbolize that he’s the one in control. They focused on her instead.

Have to remember at this point in the timeline it has been almost 900 years since the Sith Wars ended and the Rule of Two started. So by the time this episode takes place the Sith wouldn't really be on most Jedi's minds. It's probably a name they have heard about but to many of them that's probably all it is. A name.

I"m really glad we didn't get any "Thanks for killing Kelbecca for me" from Mae to Qimir. She really doesn't want to be with him anymore, is ready to step out on her own, and just wanted her sister. Which didn't go to plan either.

Qimir revealing himself to Mae, and being like' You really didn't know it was me", and then trying to kill her for her disloyalty was far more interesting.

What if Sol gives into anger next time and kills Smilo Ren and becomes the new master?

There's definitely something up with Sol.... dude disappeared at the beginning of the fight, he's keeping secrets........

The explanation is in the previous episode when he got Force pushed back. As he was in the lead he likely got the brunt of it and didn’t recover as quickly as the others. It doesn’t need to be that complicated.

He still seems pretty intent on killing Mae when he gets a chance.

Also, the episode picks up the battle in progress with some of the Jedi already dead and laying on the ground. Who knows how far ahead or behind or momentarily unconscious Sol and Jecki were.

Agreed. We saw Osha was also slow to recover. He was probably the same.

Key word "likely" because it simply isn't explained or shown to the audience. Sol just isn't there and Jekki we see on the ground when she first appears. Was she also in the lead with Sol last episode because I thought I remember her with everyone else? I don't think it's complicated myself and that's kinda the problem for me. It was rather convenient. Definitely took me out of the beginning immediately, unfortunately. Glad it worked for you but felt quite clunky.

Best episode of the show so far.
    Jecki using 2 sabers!
And the twins are switched. Oh boy
How will they explain the deaths of so many Jedi? They can’t keep that from the Council

    Great fight scene.

Have loved this entire series so far.

Thought fight scene in Eppy 5 was better than all the Prequel sword battles.

No one mentioned that Mae does not know that Darth Smiley/Quimir, is still alive. Last she saw (I think) he was being carried away by giant bugs.

    RIP Jecki
    RIP Yord
    RIP Master Kalnacca

Oh yes ! A triumphant episode! A must watch again type which I'll do tomorrow with my son who celebrated his birthday today.

I wasn't big on Osha starting out thinking about PIP over the Jedi but then again, that's her family moreso now and fits in okay. I was pleased to see them continue right where they left off. Several Jedi go down in a Minock minute, damn impressive by the dark warrior, who was finally revealed as (I had a feeling it would be this episode).....
    Qimar
    .

I wasn't shocked as it has been well scripted to be him, but the others that died at his hands...wow. And then Sol gets in the picture later, where was he? Blown back further than the others apparently, and we get a big saber Duel!
Osha going back was a mistake.
Say goodbye to Jecki & Yord. Both had a great ending episode. Qimir getting taking away by the bugs because of a little back light was not well done. And what is this history of him with Sol??
The twins did have their chances to end this fued but just can't let go of each other...and now they are
    playing the others roles?!!
. I don't see this working out for Osha.

Well, I can’t necessarily say I liked what I saw, because my reality is one where Jecki becomes the head of the Jedi Order to be remembered forevermore as the greatest of them all (obviously). So this doesn’t vibe with my chosen reality

Apart from that, no notes. Wonderful. Please keep hurting me, Leslye.
